Default Outcome of 4 ZIM matches?

what will be the scoreline from these matches?

at present, since 2005 Bangladesh have 14 of the head to head matches, and Zimbabwe has won 6, with the following breakdown:

in Bangladesh: 8-2 to BD
in Zimbabwe: 5-4 to BD
neutral venue: 1-0 to BD

Anything less than 4-0 is not acceptable. It is time to widen the gap.

I have aleady mentioned this in other threads. Given the nature of our cricket, mainly our consistent choking while batting will result into 3-1 loss against Zimbabwe.

On paper, Zim should be able to beat BD - but you guys have home advantage and our boys occasionally fall apart, so I vote 3-1 to Zimbabwe. Not that I'm biased or anything...

i think Bangladesh has the tools for a thumping 4-0 victory. we just need to be on our guard because this is a "surprise package" we are dealing with, but remember, on mirpur stadium, beating Bangladesh is an insult to our cricket and more often than not, this is Tiger's Cage and even world class players/teams with the best training choke here.

from a fan's perspective, i agree with everyone that anything less than 4-0 is unacceptable. because all of our players has excellent potential to dominate world cricket, just like Zimbabweans.

We should win 4-0 but I am pretty sure there will be a batting collapse in one of those four games. I hope I am wrong. Voting 3-1.

on the contrary, zimbabwe have the potential for a single win. if this was in zimbabwe, i'd say they had the potential to tie the series 2-2.

however, one thing people are forgetting is the mental aspect of the game.

our players are quite talented, so much so that they prolly won't ever live up to it. but our players have confidence issues against the top sides. ash doesn't against lanka, hence his averages against them. but asides from the lone match against india where mash goes off, we have a very meek attitude towards the big guns.

against minnows, we have the opposite. the team believes that they shouldn't just win, but pound the opposition. hence we win usually by comfortable margins. in 2005, the team thought they were marginally better, and hence almost lost the series. it wasn't till rana's consecutive 4-fors that they realized they could pound zimbabwe.

anything less than 4 wins, 2 of them by wide margins is a failure on our part. but zimbabwe have the potential to steal a match. sibanda, chigumubura, and taibu are excellent players if they get going, and mupariwa is a very good young quick bowler.

i'd expect us to win 4-0 or at the worst 3-1 even if the series was in zimbabwe. and then zimbabwe would have the potential to tie the series 2-2. but with ash in form, rahim playing to par, tamim, raqib's cool head, and sakib's magic, zimbabwe won't have but the outside chance at an upset.

So we outplay New Zealand and should have won the series 2-1 to being happy 3-1 vs Zimbabwe?
