Welcome onboard!

It wasnt always like this but lately we are being inundated with poor threads just like our poor run of scores (batting).

Djnaved, how can you expect Naeem to take singles and try to hit 4s and 6s when Tamim, Ash, or Junaid couldn't do so? And they are our "specialist" batsmen!

Ha ha. I normally don't open any thread praising any player. A lot of people are around here to do that.

ro1249, that's not the topic here.it's about naeem, not about ash, junaid or tamim.........the real fact is that even a parar cricketer would do better than him in the last match....if i had his video footage, then i can show u why he is faltu.......

mone koren 2 wickets left, ar akhon powerplay cholche..4/5 overs left..r apner team ke ekta valo score nieye jete hobe...apni ki powerplay ta valo moton use korben naki jara bat ghuraite jane na taderke strike diben? if u have the capability, then why not using it?

Elton chigumbura's half century against bangladesh in tri-nation cup is the perfect example......and arekta jinish bujhtachi na, ekjon ke nia kotha bolle, aro doshjoner kotha chole ashe keno...it's like ami eka kharap kheli nai, shobai kharap khelse...ashol fact hoilo nije ki korse shetai boro kotha..

ar bc memberra jodi doya kore naaemer video footage gula dekhen taholei bujben.. achha 4/6 er kotha badh dilam singles nitea dosh kotha?

I would probably be tempted. But for sure I won't get the chance to open it. Some younger one will do it.

Naem and now Rubel and Riad (to some extent) are the only players that make me keeps going-on in a otherwise hopeless situation. Ofcourse Sakin is already the shinning star in the team. Mashrafee is the other one, who is performing in high class with the ball.

Tamim is following Ash's bad trait, Zunid is a perfect example how we over hyped a player and killed his premature career. Rahim's come back from from was successfully neutralized by Siddon/Ash by switching his batting position too often,
Rakibul may be a good bastman, but I haven't seen anything that tells me he is a long term ODI batsman. BCB has successfully dimimished the competition by neutralizing Aftab, Farhad and Dhiman and thanks to Ash for successfully introducing all these players to ICL player agent.

Naem may not be the most talented player, but I see constant improvement in him, and I give him high marks for not getting influenced by his captain and learning bad traits from him (so far).

Totally agreed. I dont know if the fans are aware of it but Naem has been a consistent performer in the domestic and A team circuit. He contributes and doesnt dissapoint as much as Junaed/Mehrab does. If the name was not Md. Ashraful, Naem is even better than that name... I personally dont buy that crap of "Talented".. we heard that word so many times before.

Well said, Dhakablues and Fazal. Nayeem didnt do well with bat but he did it with the ball. Only in the last match he couldnt get any wickets and also bowled bad lines. He will do much better if he bat at 6. Mushy might do well at 8 as he can bat well with the tailenders.
