Ashraful sold for $75,000 to Mumbai
Ashraful has been sold to Mumbai at his reserve price of $75,000. Im hoping Ash represents us well in the IPL, the 20-20 game suits him perfectly.

Yeh I hope Ashraful gets an early chance and prove his superior hitting skills.

This is a big opportunity for Ashraful to develop his game. he will be playing alogside Sachin, that'e the best you can get. I think the net and team experinece with players like Sachin, Jayasuriya, Harbhajan and other players will be more valuable than playing the matches.
I hope the IPL experience will help him to become a more consistent player.

Interestingly, he is the cheapest buy among international players, he might well become the biggest burgain of this IPL.

Ash got his wish to play in the Mumbai Indians because SachinTendulkar is there. Hopefully, the weeks he will be there, even if he plays a couple of games will uplift his game. He also gets a chance to interact with the other players, i am sure that his English speaking skills will improve a great deal.
Sorry to see the best cricketer(Sakib) not given a slot.

didn't realize he would be that close to sachin, and the fact that jaya will be there makes it perfect. i don't care if he plays a single match, the experience of those players will make a big difference. this is the closest thing to any of our players getting action in a "domestic league" of a big nation.
hope ash can learn some things from the 2 best ODI batsmen of all time...

Good Luck to Ash.
I'm agreed with Miraz Bhai. He can build his mental health stronger with the presence of Sachin. No doubt he is the best cricketer as a whole and a ideal role model to follow.
Let this be his important turning point of his career.
Lets Ash make it happen. Go Ash.....Go....Our Captain...

Despite constant failure, Ash is still regarded the best batsman in Bd. The fact that he bagged a contract proves that. I wonder if Alok would have been bought in the auction if he was still playing for Bd. He'd done well against the indians.
