Your Recent Achievements
I've opened this thread so that all of us can share our latest achievements and motivate those who don't see the light of success too often.Your achievements can be anything, you know like getting a promotion, graduating from high school, qualifying for M.I.T, anything.
A recent achievements were:
Got 23 votes out of 32 and became the president of my class
Made sure I dont use water unnecessarily
Didnt pass out during french class throughout 2nd term
Didnt lose my temper on that showoff kid that always thinks he's the best.
Smiled atleast once a day this month
Kept running after success

They eat left-over vegetables off people's plates during lunch hour. Saves the company from having to throw away tons of food, seeing that vegetables are so bad for health.

I finished my entire family's laundry; folded and ironed;
Finished bill paying for the rest of the month.
Finished cooking for most of the week; three different proteins and 3 kinds of veggies and daal.
Donated to goodwill.
Put gas in the cars.
Hugged my wife and daughter.

Just wait till your your wife finds out that you think hugging her is an achievement...
let's define achievement with an example:
ironing shirt is an achievement ---> because something you don't wanna do but you pushed yourself to do it regardless :p

Au contraire, his wife-hugging makes him a hero, at least according to Dictionary.com:
Quote:
|
the something accomplished, esp. by superior ability, special effort, great courage, etc.; a great or heroic deed
|
Then again, from urban dictionary:
Quote:
Achievements are synonymous with Gamerscore on the Xbox 360.
When you unlock an Achievement, you get Gamerscore. To unlock an Achievement, you need to fulfil a specific task.
Achievements vary in difficulty to unlock; some take little to no effort whatsoever, whereas some are nigh impossible to achieve.
Example of an easy Achievement to unlock:
Gears of War: Prison Breakout -
Completed tutorial level on any skill level
Example of a hard Achievement to unlock:
Gears of War: Seriously ... -
Kill 10,000 people in versus ranked match total
|
Wife-hugging doesn't make the list.

I am sure Zunaid put his list based on the difficulty level of "unlocking" the achievements. Easy being first, most difficult being last

I hereby declare that I no longer am a Virgin and my avatar will be changed to my next target.
I will not change this avatar (changed on March 14, 2009) till Bank of America (BAC) stock hits close to $10 or tanks below $2 (just incase).
