Even though alok and aftab were two players i really enjoyed watching i think it would just disturb the harmony in the team right now if they comeback.

Well the bright side of this would be .. well if a player is unjured or unable to attend a match ,there would be plenty of selection but the down side is that well first of all I assume a lot of ppl would critisize them for comming back and I doubt that they will make the same amount of cash (which I am just guessing and have no idea or knowledge bout this).

i like the players in the team now and i like the players coming through atm, consistency is the main issue at the top level, alok and aftab had many chances (as did other ICLers) and weren't able to find much consistency, give the new guys who haven't had much of a chance yet to prove if they can be consistent or improve to a decent level before dropping them and bringing back iclers.

i mean aftab and alok are just like ashraful, talent with no consistency which imo is basically pointless. as for big hitters, well i think mithun and nazmus are both big hitters and they're both doing a decent job this DPL.

For the World cup T20 in June I would love to see SN, AA, AK and Dhiman back.

I think the following team can make some waves in the tournament:

1. Nafees
2. Tamim/Nazim/Junaid
3. Aftab
4. Alok
5. Ash
6. Shakib
7. Mash
8. Dhiman
9. Razzak
10. (Medium Pacer/Fast bowler)
11. Rasel

You would have hitters down to #9. 3 capable spinners (4 including Ash).

I don't see why we need Dhiman. I haven't seen one good innings from him in any international or ICL match. He's way overrated.

By the end of this year, we will have a very clear idea where ICL is heading.
If they fail to organise the season later this year, we will witness a massive exodus by foreign players. Esp with LB being barred to play in india atm, and i do not see any reasons to overturn that decision by indian govt anytime soon, ICL men are really hanging by the thread here.

Our "warriors" is all set to become the "tin number bachcha" very soon.

Specially with batting. Very unimpressive indeed.

his wicket keeping skills are much sharper than mushfiq. Faster reflex, and more reach thats all.

in time mithun should hopefully develop and be the t20/ODI keeper, if dhiman comes back he can be test keeper with mushy being played as a specialist batsman. at this stage i'd give mithun ago in t20s over both rahim and dhiman. but atm the iclers aren't back so for me it's a non-issue for now.

if they come back, our 20/20 team will be

tamim
shahriar nafees
aftab
ashraful
kapali
sakib
mashrafe
dhiman/mithun ali
razzaq
nazmul
rasel

reserve: junaed, nazimuddin,mahbubul robin,shohrawardi shuvo

in my opinion the best combo for 20/20

Its all upto the legal situation. If they are allowed, doesn't matter what our feelings are, nobody can stop Alok, with his current form and new found confidence, from becoming a central part of the team. We just do not have enough talent to shut off any pipeline. Aftab will certainly make it back to ODI and 20-20.

Bingo.

his keeping in ICL was great. Minimal extras were conceded.

I think Mushy has a huge future ahead as a test and maybe ODI batsman but he's not a quality keeper and I don't think he fits the T20 requirements (fast, quick reflex, athletic etc.)

I want to see DW do well in ICL, so all of them need to be there for many more years to come.

Modern keepers need to be established as batsmen. Exceptional keeping skills won't make up for seemingly non-existent batting skills.

I hope Mithun Ali develops into a good keeper. He can definitely bat.

Thumbs down chance to get back in bangladesh team from icl?

i can say what is my opinion and what's in my heart, if i was in charge of bcb today, the chance would be 'zero'!

today the national team is far better and cleaner after the purging of those morons! and yes, we all know there are plenty and i repeat plenty of better cricketers waiting in line in BD currently, in every aspect of the game and each one of these youngsters could cover for two to three of those icl-er fools! icl was one of the best things that happened to Bd national team....we finally got rid of those malicious tumors!!!!

p.s. my heart-felt comment is purely based on those icl-ers statements regarding their loyalty with bangladesh national team right when they joined icl and formed dhaka warriors. good luck to them playing cricket somewhere else, but not in this team...the bangladesh national team!!!
