Default Your World T20 Squad

with the t20 world cup coming up i thought this might be an interesting little exercise, if you were to select a t20 squad of 16 and had no restrictions on how many players you could select from any country who would you select? you're allowed to include anyone who currently plays t20s whether it be for their country, IPL or even ICL. i'll start with my squad:

1 hayden
2 nazir
3 de Villiers
4 duminy
5 symonds
6 y.pathan
7 a.morkel
8 mccullum
9 vettori
10 nannes
11 malinga

12 d.hussey
13 mendis
14 watson
15 afridi
16 Johnson/flintoff (can't pick between these 2 mainly because i've not seen flintoff bowl in t20s and johnsons has only played 12 matches so it's a bit hard to select him for a squad like this having played soo little t20 cricket but being a genuine quick bowler with somewhat big hitting ability and reasonable stats so far puts him into consideration especially since the rest of this squad only contains 2 specialist pacers).

Many in here seem to believe that Sayed Rasel is better than Mash and Shahdaat and regard him quiet highly .I have not seen him bowl a lot except against SA (where he bowled Smith)

He seems to be a gentle medium pacer who sticks on to his line similar to a NZ player (lefty too..forgot his name) who played recently against India.

Will be interesting to see how he fares.Nowadays these kind of bowlers have become a rarity. At one time each team (except the subcontinent teams) used to have atleast one player who used to bowl seam-up within the wickets.Gavin Larsen was my favourate among that breed of bowlers.

5 Australians 3 has been yet they are the best in the world. 2 Indians. Murali walks in to any team. Gul mouth watering. De Villiers is the rock.

Bench (in case of injury): Rohit (replacement for top 4, except Gilly), MCCullum (Gilly), Shakib(5-8), Malinga(9,11). There is no replacement of Murali. He will play even if two legs are broken. His eyes are enough for the opposing batsmen.

yeah dilshan and yuvraj are good t20 batsmen, ojha has been pretty good as well and i suppose afridi is more of a bowler now so his big hitting is actually a bonus. i considered parnell to be a good bowler since i first saw him a couple of months ago.
