Hopkins defeats jones jr, 117-110 on two and 118-109 on the third. Jones jr had a point deducted in round six for a punch to the back of the head.

My prediction: Hopkins v Jones jr- hopkins wins UD,117-111

Roy jones jr - 54-7, 40 KOs
Bernard hopkins- 51-5-1, 32 KOs

World champion Venezuelan boxer Edwin Valero has been found dead (committed suicide) in a police cell after being detained for killing his wife.

The former lightweight champion used his own clothes to hang himself from a bar in his cell early Monday

Sweet deal. Pavlik lost to Sergio Martinez (Argentine) unanimously. A bloodied Pavlik needed 36 stiches above his both eyes. He couldn't see Martinez in the last few rounds.

Maritnez use to be soccer player and cyclist. he is 35 and was only weighing 160 to Pavlik's massive 178. Martinez was too fast for Palvik.

Judge Roberto Ramirez scored the fight 116-111, Barbara Perez scored it 115-111 and Craig Metcalfe had it 115-112, all for Martinez. The Associated Press also scored it 115-112.

Super six

Carl Froch lost his WBC super-middleweight title, The fight was scored 117-111, 115-113, 116-112, all in Kessler's favour. Froch lacked urgency from the outset, allowing Kessler to come forward and dictate with his jab.

I Scored the fight 115-114 in favour of Kessler
My prediction:116-112 win for Kessler

Mayweather wins against Mosley UD all judges 118-110
My prediction was Mayweather to win UD 115-113, i scored the bout 118-110 to Mayweather.

Mayweather was badly hurt in the second round but did not touch the canvas, after the first two rounds mayweather won every round, mayweather was the more aggressive of the two for most of the fight. I feel age was a big factor in mosley's defeat since he was breathing heavily after 5 rounds, however mayweather faught a great fight where he suprised many people by fighing with an aggressive nature.

My p4p lsit 02/05/10
1. Floyd Mayweather - 41-0, 25KOs
2. Manny Pacquiao - 51-3-2, 37KOs
3. Juan M. Marquez - 50-5-1, 37KOs
4. Shane Mosley - 46-6, 39KOs
5. Miguel Cotto - 34-2, 27KOs
6.Nonito Donaire - 23-1, 15KOs
7. Bernard Hopkins - 49-5-1 , 32KOs (down from 3 because of inactivity)
8. Ivan Calderon -33-0-1, 6KOs
9.Chad Dawson -
29-0-0, 17KOs
10.Paul Williams - 37-1, 27KOs

Paul Williams claimed a bizarre victory over Kermit Cintron on Saturday night after the Puerto Rican tumbled out of the ring and crashed into a table in round 4 forcing him to quit on doctors advice. Cintron sustained an injury to his head and was subsequently strapped to a stretcher and carried from the arena in a neck brace. As the fight was held under California state rules, a decision had to be taken as the contest had reached three rounds and thus Williams - ahead on two of the three judges' scorecards - was awarded a split decision win. The opinion of most people including me is that it should have been ruled a no-contest

Amir is one talented dude, his hands are fast and he's got power and he's 6 feet @ 140lbs. I know he's got a suspect chin but w/ Freddie he can next that next step

Kevin Mitchell got stopped in the third round by Katsidis to retain the interim WBO lightweight title.
Victor ortiz outboxed Nate Campbell to win a wide UD decision on Khan's Undercard fight.

Light welterweight champion Amir Khan Stopped Malignaggi after he threw a series of unanswered blows before referee Steve Smoger stepped between them at 1:25 of round 11.

My prediction: Khan to win via UD 116-112 or late stoppage. I only gave Pauli the second round at the rest were dominated by Khan with his superior hand speed and power, Khan dictated the action of the fight with his jab.

Khan should now face either Maidaina or Devon Alexander or the Best 140 fighter in my opinion Timothy Bradley

Cotto V Foreman- Saturday 5 June
Prediction- Cotto on Points, tricky fight to judge most pundits saying either a cotto KO or Foreman on points, i can see both of their points Foreman is bigger and has a longer reach and has good movement and is equipped with a strong jab where as cotto is a Boxer puncher who likes putting on the pressure; this fight really depends on what Cotto has left, i think he has enough to beat foreman in their upcoming fight.

Cotto wins Via a 9th round TKO- dropped foreman from a left hook to the body.
Foreman had an injury to his knee which forced his corner to throw in the towel in round 8 However the refree let it continue but the fight didnt continue for long as Cotto dropped foreman with 43 seconds left in round 9.

Prediction- Cotto on Points

I loved the Million Dollar Baby movie. Actually i didn't want to see it but my wife talked me into and finally I didn't regret it. The movie was surprisingly good and the actress was great. I recommend it to everybody.

I give it 8/10, all the actors preformed well(Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman and Hilary swank)
Raging Bull wasnt a bad Drama/Sport film either i give it 7.5/8, starting Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci. Is about Jake Lamotta a man who defeated Ray Robinson (once out of 6 fights) the greastest boxer of all time.

Used to like boxing but now of the opinion that it should be banned. In many countries dog fighting has been criminalized to stop cruelty against animals...

Boxing is a sport, its about technique(if you even boxed one round you will find out how much technique is involved) in dog fighting there is no technique. Boxing is about defence as much as offence. if Boxing is to be banned then UFC should be banned, there is a sweet science involved in Boxing, boxers go into boxing by there own choice they can retire any time they want.

Perhaps, you're underestimating my knowledge of boxing a little. Yes, I do appreciate the technique involved in boxing and am aware that this bloodsport is considered by its advocates as "the noble art". To me it is anything but noble. In a nutshell, boxers are trained to knockout the opponent by throwing punch or a number of punches to the head, particularly, the temple. I am sure you can understand how that could lead to fatality or serious brain damage. Even a boxing great such as Ali is a victim of this "sport". Many boxers have died in the rings. Life is more important than a sport.

Look, boxing is nothing but a bloodsport for the entertainment of the elite. You don't see the "nobles" bloodying it out in the rings...it is inevitably the young men from lower socio-economic class. Don't you think the days of gladiators, emperors and amphitheatres are long over?!
