well they alone aren't going to win the game. everybody needs to contribute with bat, ball, field, and anything else thats needed.

Tamim is gonna be the first Bangladeshi to score a triple century in test and Mashrafe to take 10 wickets in an innings in his first match as captain. Since victory is inevitable let's discuss how we are going to win the match? By an innings, 10 wickets? what do you guys think?

If we win the toss, do not hesitate to bat Mash. We somehow, have to at least score 300 in first innings to give us a fighting chance. We should have a long batting line up and even the tail has to wag. Nowadays, if you look at other teams batting card, you will always see extra 100 runs coming from no.7-10. I think, we are capable of that.
Once again, I have this feeling that Tamim will announce himself in the test stage. Everything is set up for him to succeed. The bowlers, the pitch and what better place for him to shine than here. He has a certain Carribean style in him..Fingers crossed.

Vai, all I see in Tamim is The Butcher of Chatga. If he remains true to himself and play with conviction, he will make his mark. Same goes for all other batsmen really.

Yeah, I dont want shaghir debuting anyways. He should be kept as a replacement only, how many times have we debuted a player for a series and then discarded him from the national team ?
Considering the amount of test matches we played as a nation, our caps are really alot. What does that mean ? it means that we have a habit of dropping a player before he settles himself properly in the test arena.

Lets talk about some reality. WI has good fast bowlers and we are not very comfortable against fast bowling in the opponents den. Nevertheless, I believe that our team is quite balanced now both in bowling and batting and we will pose much more challenge than we did in our previous visits. Really, I am waiting to see the performance of this team because I believe in their strength despite recent failure in recent T20 tournament.

saghir should only get a game if he's clearly a better keeper than mushy, that's the only acceptable reason for his selection, otherwise he's taking a spot from someone who could utilise it more or contribute more to the team.

Looks like our chance opf winning this test is increased by the following development...
Windies players to boycott Bangladesh series
If the issue not solved in time, they may field their 2nd string players.

Even if its the 2nd string and we win it, at least the confidence will come back a bit. Winning in a test match would be peaceful, doesn't matter against who; at least the shackles will be broken. Still I would like to see mainstream players playing it rather than 2nd string.

Well, still; at least we would the get some confidence. But not sure if it's worth the gamble, given the volatile nature of us, we might end up on the wrong side. But whatever it is, I bloody want a match tomorrow.
