Default still interested in the series??

will you still be following the series????

btw, we really need to invite the WI for 3 tests once their contract situation settles down. on our home soil we'd win at least one of those 3 tests, given the scares we've given far stronger teams like SA, NZ, and SL.

Interest has trebled. Will we lose to a depleted side - and if so will it be because of the uncertainties induced by unknown faces or the mere fact that we suck - or will we destroy the two time world champs?

Questions, questions.

I wasn't going to follow it, but after hearing everyone's support, I will also follow the series.

But I think that this is a lose/lose situation for us. If we win, people will denounce the win because it was against a weak opponent, and if we lose, so much lojja and more people will call for our Test status to be removed... So this kinda sucks.

I have doubt that our team can perform even against this team. Because definitly they will be over confident and everytime when Bangladesh is over confident become loser very badly. like: T20 WC 2009. Good Luck.

I hope the boys wont be over confident.
They should be cautiously confident.

This is a goldend opportunity for us, the team and for the new capitano.

I bet Ash is wondering why didnt he got this opportunity.
Bad luck shob shomoy kharap hoy.

Go Mash.
This is your golden opportunity to achieve something no Bangladeshi captain have done before.

Bangladesh should complain this to the ICC. Every team is supposed to play their best XI. Otherwise India could have hosted us, resting their main 15 and playing an A team against us.

I dont want Bangladesh to Win, Ashraful to Score and Mashrafe or Shakib to play well. Because my expectation from them is higher. Performing against a lower standard team will never reflect these players ability.

Moreover if Bangladesh win and players perform

1. Board will use this reference as their success
2. Media will say "Bangladesh wash out West Indies"
3. Some players will say "Look, how good I am"
4. Fans will expect something like that or more than that in the next series

Zimbabwe won't play with their second team. They will definitely play with their strongest team.

I am disappointed with WICB and players.

Obhiasli! Such is the nature of addiction.

But in all seriousness, when we can lose to the 2nd string youth version of a mid table Maharashtra side, we can obviously lose to the 3rd string Windies discards hastily put together without any preparation whatsoever.

Looking forward to some quality competition here ...

This has to be one of the most confusing statement i hv ever seen!

You dont want the team to win against a third string team cuz you hv high expectation of them???

Dude, keep your expectation to a realistic standard. We have won only 1 out of the 50+ tests we have played in last 9 years.
And if you have not seen the true ability of these players, you are living in a fancy land thats fancier than MJ's Neverland.

You want to lose to a hasty put shamble of a team hoping the boys would preserve their strength for the rainy days.

If we cant win this match, we seriously dont belong in this league anymore.
This is a role reversal. We are like Australia here and this WI team is like Bangladesh.

Ash have probably played more test than the whole WI team combined.
