ICC Champions Trophy 09 :S
ICC decided to play the top 8 competitive teams for the champions trophy. But west indies decided to register their weak team for the tournament and here is the link to it: http://www.cricinfo.com/iccct2009/co...ry/416306.html
If west indies are having hell of a trouble to even stand up against our team imagine the flop of their life in the trophy, ICc should just let Bangladesh replace the WI team since we are more skilled and compatitive then they are and after the test series and hopefully the odi as well we will be on top of our game?
Don't you guys agree with me? Seriously ICC should have let the last 3 team to do a all out war to see who gets the spot in the finals that sounds fair and its a honest way to give every team a chance.
give your opinions ....

lol, WI should go, no matter what. ICC and the other boards wanted to kick out mediocre. They will have more mediocre games there. Serves them right.
As for BD, I would wait till BD finish touring Zim. May be they might have a bigger claim. 2-2 at home was a slap!!

No... we have to earn it!! I don't want a place by default. Sakib will hopefully change the nature of these players under his leadership and they will rightfully inserted one day! RIght now, they don't belong there just as much as the 3rd string WI team.

It should be WI as they still are the 8th ranked team though it would be nice to see BD rewarded for the wins taking place in WI right now.
ICC needs to get away from this selection policy for World Cups and Trophies and have a qualification system. In the FIFA cup, not even the defending champs get a free ride now. They can make the qualification road more comprehensive (best of 3/5 etc.) so that the better teams have better odds to get through. This will allow for the lower ranked teams (BD, ZIM) and the top associates to get more competitive games as well.

Well they made it in to a top 8 team competition to ensure that we are not in there so unless we receive an invite and we are part of the tournament for our merit then i dont want us to be treated as a sub team for failings of someone else.

Zimbabwe and Ireland are also skilled and competative like us. We may be slightly better than them but they can also beat us easily.

Ireland are no where near us in cricket.
Circus clown cricket doesnt count for *****, we thrashed them 3-0 in ODI series, none of the matches were even close. And not to mention they couldnt even handle Kenya in a first class match
As for Zimbabwe, I show them a bit of respect, we failed miserably to show major dominance by losing two games,
our away series next month will decide the gap

I like the format. Champions tropy for the champions, which we are not!
And somehow its good for us that we are not playing. Eshob tournament e khele sudhu sudhu man-shomman nosto korar manei hoi na..
