Congrats, BD.
Why did I fall steep and missed the game?

Ash's English is a lot better since his stint with Mumbai Indians. I think he was forced to speak in English to communicate with other players and this did him a lot of good.

As for our boys the challenge will be to sustain this level of professionalism all the way through the series.
I don't know what's going on behind the scenes over there but it seems inconceivable that they could pick a team without Eddie Rainsford

1) this win means a lot to us esp. after the humiliation, whatever be the reason, in the warm-up match.

2) this overwhelming win agt a much stronger zimbabwe would also establish our undoubted strength and do world of good to our confidence.

The key will be to not get complacent after this. One game at a time.

Great job. I hear it was a professional display. Like I used to preach. The problem stems from leadership (ei shujog e lagiye dilam). The right guy can get the best out of his men. We've been seeing that since the Wi series. Also, good to see Ash do what he does best - he should never have been forced into leadership. His job is to help us win matches.

Missed the BD innings, maaaaaaaaaaan! went shopping with family and was checking the score in my mom's phone, and felt like jumping off the escalators when I saw 74* near Ash's name and 61* near Tamim's. But felt so good ..... MashaAllah BD, keep going. Next match, same stuff; once again.

Never missed an entire BD match this way. Even couldn't follow score cards on line, until game was over and a friend called me to give the news. Good to see yet another century fom Ash. Was someone saying to drop him, before the series?

Good comeback from the practice match :/)

CONGRATS !!!

It was a deep domination of our batting after a tight bowling display.
It was a pleasure and treat for the eye to watch Ash and TI just executing top notch shots without any pressure or bafflement.

Nice win. A team that was supposed to be beaten was beaten, with disciplined bowling and (mostly) disciplined batting.
