I bought a Worcestershire Pears' v-neck pullover and the salesgirl, guessing that I was Bangladeshi, mentioned how she met Shakib and what a nice guy he was. haha
That's what I think about this boy as many people has given the same report. Nice, simple, straightforward, introvert and I firmly believe that people just misinterprets his straighforward word as arrogance. My youngest brother is just like him so I clearly understand what he goes through when he gets frustrated. As he is not used to expressing himself, his outburst looks pretty silly.

A Bangladeshi player has never been part of 2 big partnerships in the same innings...Can Shakib do that with Musfik tomorrow?

It amazes me how Shakib delivers under tremendous pressure.. and this year he has been doing it against all the odds... we know it very well if Shakib doesn't perform this consistently he would be kicked out of the team at the very first chance. He failed many times but then he rose !!! I don't know whether Shakib would be a legend in the world cricket someday but I feel he is already a legend of BD cricket

Read his Cricinfo profile's 1st line...it reads "Shakib al hasan is Unarguably the best cricketer Bangladesh has ever produced"...he is already a legend in BD cricket..but he still has to prove something to the world..since his team loses all the time he needs to do extra to get noticed

Shabash Shakib! Congrats on your second test century.
I lost interest in this series because of our meek surrender to Pak until today in the month of December, but you have brought my attention back along with SN.
