It's a shame because many of these international commentators have commentated in matches where Shakib has shone spectacularly - especially Danny Morrison.

Ramiz Raja is the only commentator that likes and respects Shakib. Other then that other commentators dont really talk about him. Its only Shamim Chouwdary who tries to talk up the Bangladeshi boys.
Shakib should open the batting for Khulna and knock a 100* and open the bowling and take 5/20 so he can prove a point to all the international commentators.

I think he'd have to play a BanglaCricket XI to do that in a T20.

That is what he actually have to do in each and every match until he retires in order to get noticed by the rest of the world !!! I think even the BD supporters wants him to play a superman in every match!! a 50 or couple of wickets are not enough..Anyways, the only 2 commentators who respects Shakib's talent are Gavaskar and Harsha !!! specially Harsha, he is always excited about Shakib !!!

Poor captaincy today. Inexplicable why he or Razzak didn't bowl their quota of overs.

He played admirably today. His first over went for 12. The other three over fetched him 2 wickets. No one stepped up to the plate today. Bad loss. Anyways we should be fine for semis.

I disagree ..... It's as pleasant as heaven.... I'm sure the heavens will be ideal as golf courses and you might learn it or you will miss it there ...
As far as the description of heaven goes, if you visualize it, it will look very close to golf courses.... Only hope there will be some clubs to play the game...

Foreigners don't give him enough credit? Even we don't give him enough credit! Shakib has been overlooked by Tamim as long as they've been playing together. The flashyness ran out and Shakib all of a sudden became the most popular one. As soon as Tamim returns to form, and scores some flashy tons, no matter how many match saving innings/spells Shak gets, he won't get the respect that he deserves.

Oronnya, when Watson or Kallis goes to the crease, everyone want them to score a century. When they bowl, everyone want to see them getting lots of wickets.
Same thing with Shakib. He is a world-class allrounder. Expectation is too high from an allrounder.
I saw how English man criticized Flintoff when he failed to score or take wickets.
You can't blame the fans who think he is world class.

Shakib!
Wasn't able to post yesterday, but terrific bowling under pressure last match. Came back brilliantly after having a terrible first over leaking about 17 runs, and had a drop catch + one inside edge missed stumps by a whisker.
Was good today too, wish he had stayed there till the end though, went for a juicy full toss Could've really got a good not out against his name. But that's Shakib, I'm getting way too greedy here.
Overall fine leadership and having a good season, Shak.
