Shakib Al Hasan felicitated by teammates

All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan was honoured by his Bangladesh teammates today (Wednesday). Captain Mushfiqur Rahim presented a framed artist's impression of Shakib on behalf of the team in recognition of his contribution to Bangladesh cricket. The portrait titled 'A True Champion of the Game' has been signed by all members of the Bangladesh squad.

Paying his tribute to Shakib, Rahim said: "It is a privilege to have him as a teammmate and to play alongside him. This is just a small token of our appreciation for his outstanding contribution to Bangladesh cricket.

"By becoming the number one all-rounder in the ICC's Test and ODI rankings he has proved what a champion cricketer he is. I hope he will continue to perform like has been and inspire the Bangladesh team to greater things this season and in the future."

Good news for Shakib indeed. But i am bit worried about his fitness/fatigue level as he will be playing non stop cricket till the end.

If Shakib was an Indian he would have played double (or triple) the amount Bangladesh plays . So he playing in T20 tournaments around the world isn't a bad thing and regarding fitness issues , Shakib being a bager bacha has enough fitness to play back to back two full 90 minutes football matches.
