How the hell can he say a lineup without WORLDS BEST ALLROUNDER the best line up?How dare can he think De Lange is better than Shakib Al Hasan?

Heard Gavaskar saying in the post match interview that rain started just a minute before the toss and Shakib was in the XI then but KKR took de lange after the match reduced to 12 overs .

I think Gambhir meant it was the best XI for a 12 over match . They probably thought 4-5 good batsmen are enough for a 12 over match and since they do not have good local fast bowlers they went with de lange

whatever the case is, if they want to win then they need shakib..same goes to pune too.

As I said before somewhere they were selecting the twelve-twelve specialists-players experienced with the number twelve. In the case of deLang it was a run rate of 12 and his deserving of beign twelfth man. I don't know how "Double G" came to the conclusion that in a 12 over game a guy who bowls inaccurately and randomly at high speed is a safe selection. The guy is unproven.

I think shakib was out of the side anyway regardless of the 12 over game
I don't think shakib features prominently in their planning as they continue to stuff the team full of spinners who are competitors to shakib

Despite the attack shartaz has gone through, have to agree with him that Bayliss may be playing a role (although a bit premature). Ideally it should be as Dilscoop said but this is IPL-i think a few of the matches are fixed anyhow

I am sure next year Shakib don't even want to stay with KKR even if they want to renew his contract.....and some other teams will surely pick him in the auction. KKR go to hell

Right after the Asia Cup. Shakib was telling in one of his interviews that he intends to go on a break. I think since KKR isn't playing him. Shakib should just cancel his contract. come home & take some break instead of sitting there in the dugout.

P.S - I'll wait for one more match. 2 to be highest. If Shakib isn't played. Join me in chanting "KKR SUCKS!! KKR SUCKS!! "

Whats the big deal with Shakib not being picked in the final XI ? He is not the only superstar to experience that. There is room for only 4 overseas players. He will get his chance sooner or later. Important is to show what he is made of then.
