মঙ্গলবার রাতে ইডেন গার্ডেনে কলকাতা নাইট রাইডার্সের খেলা আছে ডেকান চার্জার্সের বিপক্ষে। ওই জন্যই টিম মিটিংয়ে ডাকা হয়েছে সাকিবকে। তিনি খেলবেন কি না তখনো নিশ্চিত করে বলতে পারেননি। তবে খেলার সম্ভাবনা আছে।

Pont is a good manipulator in my opinion. He hyped up a lot of the "things" he has done-our bowlers especially the pacers still have flash in the pan performances-they haven't really progressed. The more I see Pont commenting the more he seems like a crowd pleaser-he is also quite media savvy

COming onto BC obviously has made him popular to the naturally sentimental BD supporters who feel "honoured" by Pont coming on and discussing issues with use "mere fans". It's nice of him to discuss things with us but again he has his own agenda-his impartiality is as questionable as it is of any fans

Which brings me to question your impartiality-being one of the bigger "Chhai-baba" Ash fans here it is only natural you would hate siddons and love "Allrounder" Chacha Sujon. Shakib and tamim didn't realy like an idiot like ash being there and without Ash and his politicking partners such as Sujon BD finally has a settled dressing room.

Sujon has never served in the interests of BD cricket-like most of our BD politicians he was there to gain what he could for himself-unfortunately his aim to become head coach failed-and I hope it continues to do so.

I'm a siddons fan, but I genuinely believe he was a great batting coach for our team. If we had whatmore as a head-coach and siddons as his batting coach...uff, that wouldv'e been freaking awesome.

I think former players if they are really interested in helping BD development should discuss matters with players privately and help out without creating a massive hue and cry in the media and stir up the mob mentality of the easily manipulated layfolk-playing on the people's moods and emotions not unlike our politicians and at various times in our history

It is also difficult to trust them if they have conflicts of interest eg business/talk show/ anything else

Most of the things said about ashraful are a combination of jest and frustration-he was a talent wasted. Ash may simply be a tool used by other fok to cause division but I think he unsettles the dressing room-anyway everyone's free to disagree-we have differences of opinion which makes BC interesting I guess. So ash fans don't take it to heart regarding what's said about ash

I was thinking along the same line too. Siddons himself said in recent CI interview that he is a skills coach. Just imagine Whatmore/Law as head coach, Siddons as batting/assistant coach, fountain as fielding coach, Salauddin as spin bowling consultant/assistant coach and a good fast bowling coach- we will be laughing. It sounds like crowded but now a days every international team has a large coaching team.They could, by turn work with the academy/A/U-19 team anyway what Whatmore is doing in Pakistan now. I genuinely believe BCB can afford such a coaching unit if the revenue earned is utilized appropriately. To achieve that we first need Saber bhai to be back though.
