Sakib al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal, the two star performers of Victoria Sporting Club, preferred to travel to Bogra today, for their next Dhaka Premier League match, by helicopter instead of the team bus, said an official.
Victoria will take on Gazi Tank Cricketers, both teams on 18 points from 12 matches, in their crunch match at the Shaheed Chandu Stadium on Saturday.
‘They will join us in the evening through a helicopter they will get from a personal friend,’ Nesaruddin Ahmed, joint secretary of Victoria, told New Age on Thursday.
‘We are fine with that as we don’t have any cost involved
for providing them with a helicopter,’ said Nesar.

For the last 3/4 days there was about 3 instance I have heard road accident took 8/9 lives, I know this is a everyday thing in Bangladesh but lately the accidents are happening more often. Honestly if I had the money I would avoid road journey in Bangladesh and I wont even feel guilty. Don't get me wrong I love Bangladesh but roads are getting worse every day, adding to that are drivers who don't follow rules and regulation, 99% of them have no idea about highway code.
