Thanks Rifat Cri for the post. I used to follow the blog during IPL, but missed out this one. Nice read.

He actually said the same to Manoj Tiwari ... See in his PA interview above.. He also predicted the same during the Asia Cup against India when he got out.. Such is his confidence !!!

http://www.indianexpress.com/news/ma...buster/954981/
"In those tense moments at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Shakib Al Hasan suddenly turned to Manoj Tiwary and insisted that adding the finishing touches to the contest would fall on their shoulders. The Bengal middle-order batsman reveals to have not taken his teammate’s suggestion too seriously, considering how comfortably Manvinder Bisla and Jacques Kallis seemed to be guiding KKR to victory. But as fate would have it, Shakib’s words came true, as the former Bangladesh captain was joined by Tiwary in the middle with Kolkata still requiring 16 runs off the last seven deliveries.
Tiwary said that it also helped that Shakib Al Hasan was batting at the other end. Since both can speak in fluent Bengali, the communication was far better."

"For starters, adds Tiwary, he still couldn’t believe that Shakib had predicted the outcome so conclusively. He wasn’t complaining though. "

http://www.indianexpress.com/news/we...tiwary/955186/
"We (Manoj and Shakib) were talking in Bengali, true. Especially, Shakib was telling me to that "we can win this just have to stick to our job and play the shots. We decided not to panic and just focus on winning the match for KKR."

Sakib, Tamim prefer flying

Staff Correspondent

Sakib al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal, the two star performers of Victoria Sporting Club, preferred to travel to Bogra today, for their next Dhaka Premier League match, by helicopter instead of the team bus, said an official.
Victoria will take on Gazi Tank Cricketers, both teams on 18 points from 12 matches, in their crunch match at the Shaheed Chandu Stadium on Saturday.
‘They will join us in the evening through a helicopter they will get from a personal friend,’ Nesaruddin Ahmed, joint secretary of Victoria, told New Age on Thursday.
‘We are fine with that as we don’t have any cost involved
for providing them with a helicopter,’ said Nesar.

Moc bhai, this article is a little misleading. I read the same news somewhere else yesterday.

It's not that they abandoned the team bus coz they prefer flying.

For the last 3/4 days there was about 3 instance I have heard road accident took 8/9 lives, I know this is a everyday thing in Bangladesh but lately the accidents are happening more often. Honestly if I had the money I would avoid road journey in Bangladesh and I wont even feel guilty. Don't get me wrong I love Bangladesh but roads are getting worse every day, adding to that are drivers who don't follow rules and regulation, 99% of them have no idea about highway code.

The video blocked is owned by Indiatimes and a few others, it's one of those few others that has put up this restriction.

The photo does not look photoshopped but Shakib could be modelling for some company perhaps?
