No he really should have dressed up more. He is much better looking than that - and yes he is sweating! Cool and Cool anti-perspirant dorkar chilo. Who helped him dress?
সাকিব সাদা পাঞ্জাবি পরে বিয়ে করতে গেছেন। হোটেল রূপসী বাংলায় একান্ত পারিবারিক আবহে বিয়েটা করছেন তিনি।

Yeah, these are all valid concerns. But think about it this way, he's the world's no.1 all rounder after all. He might wear a austere punjabi, and sweat profusely out of nervousness. But he is that kind of down to earth man.
As long as he comes back and takes 4 for 30, and scores a 60 odd, Bd and cricketing world could care less.
Such is the sheer power of the Magura Mauler!

Quote:
Bangladesh allrounder Shakib Al Hasan has married Umme Ahmed Shishir, a US-based software engineer, in Dhaka on Wednesday. The private ceremony was held at a five-star hotel where the couple completed their Akhd, the Islamic marriage formality.
The media wasn't allowed inside the hotel, and when the couple arrived to find photographers and cameramen trying to capture them, it resulted in a melee. It is the most talked about wedding in the country given Shakib's superstar status. Local newspapers have reported that the couple will host the traditional Bangladeshi ceremonies in March, but a date for it hasn't been made public.
The duo met in 2010 in United Kingdom, where Shakib was playing county cricket for Worcestershire. Shishir is a software engineer based in Minnesota, USA. Both are originally from Narayanganj, a small town south of Dhaka.

Isam having a Shamim moment?
Even the most uninvolved Bangladesh cricket fan knows that Shakib is from Magura. Btw, surprised that CI decided to publish this.

Yeah Shakib could've put a bit more effort into looking good. That panjabi looks kinda tacky. In contrast he looks so much better in this picture:

I'm sorry, but the title is just ****ing retarded. " Shakib ties knot with US-based girl."
Really? He had to categorize it like that? "US-based girl" ?? Really? It's even more sad that it was written by Isam. How about just "Shakib gets married?" And why is this in CI in the first place? It's a CRICKET website. This has nothing to do with cricket.
I was happy that BD finally had a correspondent in CI, and we were getting all that articles, but now it's just getting outta hand.

Ya, that's not of good taste ... They don't do it for Others...you had to read the text to find those details...why now?? I have seen news of Dhoni, Tendul etc many Indian cricketers news coming on CI...even Sanga's came....but you don't mention it like that....

The article also says "in a 5 star restaurant' - that is so deshi mentality. Can't imagine any other international player's venue to be highlighted as such.
