Got to admit, he has been bowling some rubbish. His batting has improved but bowling has gone down. He went from being a bowling allrounder in 2009-2011 to a batting allrounder

Everyone complaining about Shak's bowling. Keep in mind two things, he is just coming off of an injury and Zim pitch is not helping his bowling style. He is a good bowler and will bounce back from it. He is probably not 100% fit to bowl yet.

Just give it some time, he will bounce back 'like a boss' within 5 matches.

Shakib's place as the BD's most Valuable player is still intact but Nasir is closing the gap day by day, and nasir is closing it only by batting, Shakib needs to work on his bowling or soon he'll be dethroned

I'm just wondering, why do batsmen fancy to get runs off him now-a-days? Signs? Under-rating his bowling? Or is it totally off-form bowling that is coming into effect?

I really think his recent performances with the ball leaves much to be desired. He has completely lost his edge with the ball and almost seems clueless.

Shakib is Shakib. Contributes with the bat and ball. I dont think he will match his batting with Nasir's. In terms of his bowling he is an asset to the team.

That was a real horrible reaction. Yes he is a hot headed guy but you need to calm down at times.

Look at Tamim for example, an even more hot headed guy who has suffered from so many poor decisions, all he does is look at the umpire and nothing else.

I can feel Shakib's pain. He was all set to take bd in safe and he was determined to win the series. But a single bad decision (and this one is the worst of all bad decision. ) ruined the game for us. He should have thrown the bat towards the umpire. He apologized to bt as it was never his intention to hit him with the bat. Why don't these ediot umpires gets penalized?

Enough is enough.....Shakib did the right thing by showing how bad umpiring has been in this series. He can afford to lose his match fee but the message it gives to ICC is worth much more. His frustration stemmed from all the rubbish decisions that came before him and the impact it had. I understand being a role model you need to check your emotion but you also have to speak up or react to situations where you are done wrong. ICC should also slap the umpires with fine for screwing up....why a one way street?

I thought the best way to compare Shakib is with Shakib of different series. That way you don't get emotional about him.

The match fee fine is not a big pain considering to the pain one gets one he gets a bad umpiring decision while playing well

I am not sure if his reaction will get much of media coverage against bad umpiring. rather he will be regarded as bad boy.
This thing should be done by our board representatives and officials, not the perfect job of the players. but what are our officials doing, what is their fear complaining to icc/india i am not sure. I guess this is all set up plan against us.

I loved the way you explained. Yes Shakib was playing really good and he was determined to take the team home. A bad decision just cost the whole match.
