BD sports reports are nothing better than a gossip magazine...

Just to let you know Shakib-Tamim and Mushy are very good friends... Shakib respects Mushy and Mushy admires Shakib... I know that for a fact... Also the way Ash fans hates Shakib and thinks Ash was out of the team because Shakib had issues with Ash are wrong too as Ash has a very good rapport with Shakib... same goes for Mash-Shakib saga as well... All these clashes were made up by the newspaper...

I personally think there is no grouping in the team...I just love how these boys bonds with each other... how they encourages each other and becomes happy with each others success.. I never doubt their passion for the team but I do think they all are somewhat lazy.. They can do so much better if they were little more hard working !!!
I hope so. Bangladesh will be a very strong unit if everyone performs together. We are either depending on Shakib or Nasir or Tamim or Mushfiq. Its always or, never and. All 4 of them perform same match, Bangladesh becomes a very competitive side. Difficult to understand when Shakib isnt there some players step up. But when he is there, these players underperform as if they leave it to Shakib to bail us out. This must change.

Lets hope there isnt any grouping, and even if there is i do hope its ironed out and over with. One thing Ian Pont had mentioned, not easy managing a dressing room with Mashrafee, Shakib and Ashraful. Shane Jurgensen has a heck of a job uniting these players towards a common cause. Its not just managing their ability with bat and ball, but also managing them as individuals and people. South Africa's new coach hardly has a record playing cricket. Seems to be more of a man manager. We needed that in Zimbabwe

He delivered, AGAIN!

Someday he'll avoid getting out at the wrong time and start finishing games InshAllah. The best we've had to date, period.

Cricket may be the only team-sport where players spend so much time together on and off the field. If team chemistry is missing it will definitely appear in their performance. The only thing that can come to the rescue is sheer talent which only Shak is in the possession of in the current bunch of BD players.

I am not in a position to guess whether the star players of BD team are not in coherent with each other but it is very usual for star players to annoy others with their lack of hard work just because they know their status in the team. This can make or break a team; unless professionalism is practiced it can eat a team from inside and destroy it.

I know Shakib is our #3 ONLY in T20s but can he possibly be our #3 in ODIs? Wouldn't be a bad idea if he was up for the workload.

I would like Bijoy at 3. We need a opener.

If we bump up Anamul as opener and get Shakib at #3 it makes our team more balanced rather then looking for another #3.

To heavy of a workload, Anamul is not an opener, he should bat between 3-5, the way he actually looks batting. Shakib would burn out by the time he is 30, if he were to bowl 10 overs then bat at number 3. should bat number 3/4 in T20, 4/5 in ODI's, 4/5 in Test

Yeah you're right with the heavy workload bit. I got too carried away as i think he should also be keeper, field at 1st slip, bowl the first over of the game, bowl 10 overs, bat at #3, bring all the drinks out to the middle and we can't forget the shouting he has to give to everyone else in the team.

Shakib moves to no #3 on T20 allrounder ranking .. now he is in the only player to be on top 3 of all 3 formats!

didn't like his batting to be honest. its was like 6...4...edge...4...almost caught...4...swing and a miss... edge... 6
for a player of his caliber Shakib must might a middle gear in-between being defensive and slogging every ball. I would like to see controlled hitting, good rotation of strike and situational awareness. He needs to bat maximum number of overs for us and should not give his wicket away game after game.

So it seems like shakib wont be heading to India for IPL. KKR need a miracle to get to the SFs. Can Shakib bring luck to them?
