But one thing that I like about him(so far) is his honest middle class mentality. He leads a very simple life, you will hardly see him showing off, doesn't care what he is wearing or what he is driving and he doesn't think about money all the time. He can let go many big offers if it's not convinient for him. I hope he stays like that and may greed not overtakes his honesty.

Moc bhai I read the news too. I think he was approached during his county stint and he did report it to the authority. That news was leaked by Indian media as well.

Ok he revealed it before the Lords test he captained in 2010

Quote:
LONDON, May 26 Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan revealed on Wednesday how he was once approached by an individual willing to act as his “sponsor”.
Shakib`s comments came on the same day as a British newspaper report which featured a county cricketer claiming he was approached by an Indian businessman seeking to fix the result of televised domestic one-day matches.

Tigers skipper Shakib, asked about cricket corruption ahead of the first Test against England at Lord`s on Thursday, said he once reported an incident to the International Cricket Council`s Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU).

There is a difference between being emotionally weak, and passionate. Mashrafee is a passionate guy, and no way he would do a cheap thing like that.

Like Dhoni said the other day, emotionally weak people are more easy to convince

Passionate yes. Who can forget ''dhore dibani"? But those who have followed his career know he is emotionally weak. 'Obhiman' because he got dropped and leaving team hotel, having weird 'dreams' before a match etc are well known.

Yeah you are right. She is a hottie !!! I feel jealous too not because she is Shak's wife but because she is just so perfect... beauty, brain, hotness, smartness you name it !!!

She might be the Jolie of of BD but Shakib is no Brad Pitt ... he he...But what I like about Shakib is he never tries to look that handsome... He is just a simple regular guy ..

Shakib is the final piece in jigsaw for T20 challenge

The final piece in Leicestershire Foxes' Friends Life T20 jigsaw should fall into place this weekend.
While County are presently tackling Essex in the championship, Bangladesh international Shakib Al Hasan is due to arrive in England and join up with the Foxes, who open their T20 campaign against the Nottinghamshire Outlaws at Trent Bridge on Friday.
