His batting has been poor in the last 2 matches and that's that. The out today was rubbish.
That was a 40 sth score on a pitch where BD ended up scorin 325 which.tells u lot about the pitch. Everyone got a good score on that pitch. Any other performance vs big team recently?

Goodness. Shakib's today's performance with the bat deserves criticism, but to do that do you have to belittle his previous good performances? Anyone who saw that match will admit Shakib gave his all to win the game. Wow And I am sure you would have surely taken that match vs Pak into account had he failed. We could surely use more fans like you. Not.

He is supposed to be the best player in team but when was the last time he played a man of the match worthy performance pls remind me, i think 2012 was the last time he played an innings like that. Lets not forget his poor shot selection led to that crotch holding incident when the camera was on him. Just because he is called shakib doesnt mean we cant criticise the drop in his playing level and honestly he has been far from the player he once was.

He just isn't concentrating too much.

I think our players need to play some domestic cricket soon enough.

One good innings out of 6-7 matches that too on a pitch where everyone was scoring runs doesnt mean he is doing well

Look. I don't mind criticizing Shakib for playing bad. If you search the previous pages, you will even see me calling for his drop. But what disturbed me the most was the manner in which you just dismissed his performance against a big team as if our other batsmen can do that whenever they wish.

you look at the class batsmen of the top team and when you look at him, he is just another BD player, may be tad bit better. After the fame, he lost whatever he had and showed big promises as one of the best all rounders. In today's again, he seemed to be not very eager even bowling was sub par probably because Virat was there but still. Painful to watch our players' promises and sudden downlfall.

It was a showcase game for him to show something before IPL. Rather what he did...I am not sure..

Many a times, he goes out too early playing rash shots when the was no need to do that. Where is that sensible sakib gone of the 2007-2009? Nowdays his become more of a all-gunz-out too agressive batsman never holds back. This might not be all bad for us moving into the future, we have been looking for a good finnisher, he can come at number 5-7 for ODI's, 4-6 at T20's and go all-gunz-blazing agressive and finnish games off.
I dont think his suited at the top. Need a change. Needs to be moved in the batting order depending on the match situation

Shakib seems to have become lethargic in his batting

monsieur Sakib is the top scorer for BD in this Tea20cup, scored two runs more than Bjoy.
Dont understandbwhy he underperforms with the bat when he plays foreign leagues, bats like a boss for country but bats like a kerani for foreign teams, the opppsite of Krish Gayle...well country comes first.

Why he should have to wait to end the WC?

Why are you folks making such a big deal of it?

Looks like we fans are unprofessional like the players themselves(shakib inclusive). Now that the cricket season is over players need to take some break from cricket not only for the sake of body but their mind. One of the reasons why I don't really want Sakib to play too much in the IPL
