It's sometimes his passion and will to succeed gets the better of him, and he get's so visible downhearted.

Went to the stadium to watch him bat and it was a treat as always (and then some). He looked to be cruising towards 150 plus before the fatal combination of premeditation, hesitation and a good delivery put an end to what was shaping up to be yet another "Shakib Achhe" day.

Dismissals:

1. Tamim: not really surprised.

2. KaEdge: not really surprised.

3. Mofees: not really surprised.

4. DaRok: expected.

5. GoBoy: sudden touch of Mofeesitis?

6. Shakib: premeditation kills. Subsequent hesitation makes it bloody. A good delivery on top of all that makes it a massacre.

7. Nayeem: WTF was that???

8. Nasir: hope 1 life is enough. Last hope.

9. Shubho: walking wicket.

I dont understand the problem with shakib...why is he satisfied with these 50 60 70?

if he wants to be compared with the likes of kallis botham as one of the elite allrounders he needs to convert this 50s to 100s

Ironically, he tried to play a defensive stroke to that ball. Missed the timing, happens to the best of people.

As I've always said, Shakib is more of a bowling allrounder rather than batting allrounder like Kallis. Hopefully he'll improve his defense better.
