Well apparently red wine is healthy. Anyway, even if he did drink, I guess I'm not judging him from a religious perspective, but more in a way that, he's seen as a hero to so many kids. I don't want those kids to think if they drink & smoke as well, they'll be"cool" like TIK. Most alcohol drinks and smoking is really bad for you . I remember Mashrafee smoking in front of me & that disappointed me. He's an athlete, a hero & should be more concious of his health

Where is the picture taken? On each of their wrists there seems to be those paper ticket thingos. Is it a club? Or just a hangout spot.

Aaah. Like the people who like their steak well-done. Barbarians.
On topic - we need an intervention to have TI stop smoking. Any of his friends on BC?

Not on away games. Only 14/15 goes.

You all are wrong. It was Cranberry juice. Tamim's eyes and facial expression shows he just had a similar fight. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NM6AeW8ok6E

Well - nicotine dirty. Now it's nicotine clean. But, I am sorry you eat your meat destroyed. Medium and plus is like eating charcoal. No taste, no flavor. Yes, everything is about food with me. Including cricket

Out of topic:
Even I eat mine well done, occasionally medium rare. The "meat juice" just puts me off.. :/

Christ! We have the "religious" police out on the prowl. Sadly we made the mistake of not taking care of them back in '71 when we had the chance. Not even the most khyat nightclub will serve wine in a collins tumbler FGS!!! FYI, wine glasses or flutes have stems.
On the meat front: I'm truly sorry to hear that people still don't do steaks right. Explains a lot.

Dhaka used to have this authentic French restaurant called Le Soleil on Kamal Ataturk in Banani a few years ago. They offered an excellent Filet Mignon. I took a date out to dinner there and she wanted her FILET well done. I broke up with her immediately. We'd still be together breeding like rabbits had she ordered it blue or rare. Medium rare would've resulted in an extension of that relationship.

Lol why are y'all surprised if it is alcohol in his hand? He is old enough to make his own choices. And they are not a bunch of "shonar cheles" as some make them out to be. There was a picture of Mushy with a beer bottle in his hand a few years ago and he was really young at the time. Shahriar Nafees, who is a hujur now, was asked after the win against Australia in 2005 whether he would drink all of the champagne himself and he said "not all of it" with a smile. So it's not shocking if Tamim too drinks occasionally given his bad boy persona. You all need to stop being Pakistani.

Rare with salt and pepper at most (what the heck is steak sauce?) is the way to go.

I don't think the bands they're wearing on their wrists is from a nightclub or anything but from a function/event where they were VIP guests. Usually VIPs get such bracelets/bands/tags so that they can access the inner sanctum/lounge areas of such events. If Tamim had played more of a role in the BPL, I would be tempted to think that this was from a BPL event.
Anyway, Sohel bhai and Boss are obviously right, no self-respecting event would serve wine in such glasses. I think its most likely a Coke where the ice has melted and diluted the drink. In any case, what does it matter what they drink or eat as long as it doesn't impact on their fitness?

Yes , SN said something similar after a BD-AUS ODI match in Natwest series 2005.
But that wasn't the match BD won (18 June 2005) , it was after another match against Aus ( 30th June 2005 ) when SN became Man of the math for his 75, Aus won it by 6 wickets.
SN was voted MOM by SMS from viewers, M Clarke was supposed to be MOM for his match winning knock of 80 not out , but people actually started voting before the match was over

that is actually a long standing myth-although medical dogma held that belief recent researchinto why hthey believed it to be beneficial(with its resveratrol content) shows that you'd need huge amounts before you experienced its benefits
