Huh now u guys think calling some1 "servant" is fine just bcoz itz Tamim.. I don't think any of us would have taken it in good spirit if our boss called us servant even jokingly.. And definitely Dean wasn't joking when they were actually having an arguement over something !!

Cant believe that some of you guys think that when Big Bad Deano called the players his 'servant' he meant 'public servant'. Massive LOL. Servant is a pretty straightforward word and its obvious the way he used the word 'servant', he meant it as a servant.

I am surprised some here are saying that TI asking too much money ..trying to make him look greedy.
He is the icon player for god sake, every icon plyrs get a lot of money regardless of their performance..and we al know how TI was not given oportunities.
its a league ,its all business here,he is not playin for the national team or for the country that his salary will be based on his performance or his grades.
and no where he said that he asked for one crore but from the interview it is clear that both parties came to a settlement of one crore.
it should be disturbing when an owner doesnt keep his word and the cheque bounces.

Tamim has every right to speak out. He is a national player, doesn't mean he sold out his soul to us or anybody! He has legal contract with CTG franchise, thus he reserves the right to get paid per contract, period.

It's been a year almost and he even didn't get a taka!! How shameful is that!!!

Boss being rude aint issue here, but TI having problem admitting his boss is. Its a bad record and no management likes egoistic employees/servants.

I allways support the idea of open media & freedom of speech. But here check this out first; after having a very messed up ill-organized league of BPL, BCB is allready living under gun point with immense criticisms. Now when they are trying to move forward for second edition of BPL with commitment of clearing problems & issues they faced erlier, this TI-payment news bombed! All the BCB achievement haterz & jeolous of BPL starts stoning to the ppl who invested their money & interest into this hoping for a business and growth of cricket in Bangladesh. My question, where was TI when Tim May was whining for players to come out in public and solve their payment issues thru a proper legalised channel under umbrella of a players' association? Why now?!
This whole issue could be solved in much better way if Kamal & co. plus (un)corrupted franchisee owners happen to be forced to clear out all debts under FICA's monitor, we would be having more credible league of BPL in front of us by now.

তামিম ইকবালের সব অভিযোগ অস্বীকার করলেন ডিন জোন্স। বিপিএলের প্রথম আসরে চিটাগং কিংসের টেকনিক্যাল ডিরেক্টর তামিমকে নেট থেকে বেরিয়ে যেতে বলেছিলেন বলে স্বীকার করলেও কোনো বাজে ভাষা ব্যবহার করেননি বলে দাবি করেছেন। তামিমকে ‘চাকর’জাতীয় কিছুও নাকি বলেননি।
ডিন জোন্সের তামিম ইকবালের এসব অভিযোগ গত মঙ্গলবার প্রথম আলোয় ছাপা হয়েছে। যাতে তামিম বলেছেন, মিরপুর একাডেমি মাঠে চিটাগং কিংসের অনুশীলনে জোন্স তাঁকে সবার সামনে ‘গেট আউট, গেট আউট’ বলে চিৎকার করে নেট থেকে করে দিয়েছেন। মালিকের অনুরোধে এরপর এক রাতে জোন্সের হোটেল রুমে দুঃখ প্রকাশ করতে গেলে জোন্স তাঁকে চরম অপমান করেন এবং একপর্যায়ে বলেন, ‘তোমরা হলে চাকর। আমি হলাম বস।’
ইএসপিএনক্রিকইনফো� �ে জোন্স বলেছেন, ‘আমি কখনোই ওই ধরনের কোনো পরিভাষা (চাকর) ব্যবহার করিনি, তামিমও ক্ষমা চায়নি। বাংলাদেশে যাওয়ার আগে সামির চৌধুরী (মালিক) বলেছিল, আমি কোচ, ওখানে যাওয়ার পর বলা হয় আমি টেকনিক্যাল ডিরেক্টর। তার পরও তামিম আমাকে ওর অবস্থা জানায় এবং চিটাগং কিংস ও বাংলাদেশ দলের ফিজিওকেও তা জানানো হয়। ওকে নেটে ব্যাটিং করতে দেখার পর আমি ওকে বলি, চোট পাওয়া কোনো ব্যাটসম্যানের নেটে ব্যাটিং করা উচিত নয়। ও ফিটনেস টেস্ট দিতেও রাজি হয়নি।’
তামিমের অভিযোগ, চট্টগ্রামে দুরন্ত রাজশাহীর বিপক্ষে ম্যাচের আগে ওয়ার্মআপের সময় তাঁকে মা-বাপ তুলে গালাগালি করেছেন জোন্স। পরে নিজে থেকেই আর খেলেননি তামিম। এটা নিয়ে জোন্সের ব্যাখ্যা, ‘ওকে তিনে খেলতে বলার পর ও আপসেট ছিল, কারণ সাধারণত ও ওপেন করে। কিন্তু ব্যবস্থাপনা তো সবার জন্যই সমান হওয়া উচিত। তামিমের বিরুদ্ধে আমার ব্যক্তিগত কোনো সমস্যাই নেই, ও দারুণ এক ক্রিকেটার এবং বয়সের তুলনায় পরিণত এক প্রতিভা। ওর সঙ্গে আমার কোনো বিরোধ নেই।’
তামিমের সঙ্গে দ্বন্দ্বের জের ধরেই মাঝপথে জোন্স বিপিএল ছেড়েছিলেন বলে গুঞ্জন আছে। তবে এ ক্ষেত্রেও জোন্সের দাবি অন্য রকম, ‘ভিক্টোরিয়া সরকারের একটি কাজে জড়িত হওয়ার জন্য আমাকে ছয় ম্যাচ পরই দিল্লি যেতে হয়েছিল। চিটাগং কিংস জানত আমাকে শুধু ওই সময়টুকুই পাওয়া যাবে।’ ওয়েবসাইট।

Its getting dirty again. TI saying BPL payment is missing, then blaming Dean Jones. Dean then fires back. Ian tweets he didn't receive the full payment and then Tim May (FICA) says to PakPassion that salary worth of $2 million still unpaid. All in last 2-3 days.

Well, I don't know who is telling the truth, but from past experience it tells me that if Jones could call Amla a terrorist, he can call anything to anyone!!
