Good to see they released Tamim.

They have even released 'Steven Smith' their best performer, just shows their thinking process !

Mumbai Indians have dropped Jacobs and Levi, their openers. Here's hoping that they will pick up Tamim in the next auction

To add to that, look at what S. Rajesh dug up while writing about subcontinental batsmen playing outside of the subcontinent: http://www.espncricinfo.com/magazine...ry/589337.html

Wait till Tamim leaves for the national team. CTG batsman's might fall over like a deck of cards.

The subcontinent opening pair that has impressed the most in these countries is Bangladesh's Imrul Kayes and Tamim Iqbal: in ten innings they have an average partnership of 56.90, thanks largely to an outstanding tour of England in which they had successive opening stands of 88, 185 and 126.
http://www.espncricinfo.com/magazine...ry/589337.html

Tamim and Imrul have proven that they are the best openers in the sub continent when its comes to playing away from home. I always knew that Bangladesh are the best cricket team in the world

^ Somewhere a Bangla fan is trying to comment on that article saying "It must've killed that Rajesh fool to mention Bangladeshi names" and not getting their comments approved.

I've looked at his stuff, they are usually some high class stats, occupied by world class players. This hardly has anything to do with nationality, more to do with the quality.

Stop hating on the guy.
