Yeah good knock by Tamim, Still disappointed with his performance! His Strike Rate only 138 compared to Ryder 167. anyone know why that is? too many dot balls?

It doesn't look bad.
His Test average is less impressive although it was only 2 tests.
But his ODI ave of 38+ with SR of 82+ is impressive , usually his ODI ave is 30.
Good T20 figures aswell.
It's just that he couldn't get any 100 otherwise there was some consistency, this year he better get some hundreds.

does need to convert for more tons but nonetheless still very solid stats in all formats.

Although he hasn't reached his talent level yet, he's still our 2nd best batsman by a long ways. Had he reached his full potential he'd be our best batsman, even better than Shakib. People complain about Tamim and see their point but imagine if we didn't have a player of his caliber? Our top order would be absolutely disastrous.
