Otago won the final. No CLT20 for Tamim.

As said in BPL match thread, I am glad to see Tamim is no more in consideration for Bangladesh captaincy. Under his leadership, Rajshahi today gaveway a totally winnable match in last few overs.

about Tamim Iqbal: it is all about "the day" sometimes he has a great day in the cricket field where MashaAllah everything goes right and goes the way exactly he wants it to. other days....meh! and today was one of those days.

it's important for him to score runs, I think he has a bunch of good players who want to fight.
With his contribution Duronto will be tough to handle.
I'm sure he will come back...he struggled early on in NZ but did well later on.. but he needs to find himself quickly.

since when was a solid T20 player in sub-continent?
Looks at the young ones Anamul, Nasir, Mominul all pretty good at T20.
But yeah let's hope Tamim plays well Next Match, otherwise

It was more like an unlosable match. Farhad ended with a figure of 2-1-5-1!

Don't believe so. I think it's more so him coming in terms with BD pitch again after his stint in NZ.

good innings today but wasn't supported by others at all.
otherwise this target was chaseable.

Tamim bro, you seriously need to have a talk with yourself. You need to stay in the wicket more. I still think one of the major reason is that you are not careful enough after you get a start, i.e. you are content and happy to pass the safe zone.
You need to set goals. You need to think that you are going to finish the match. If you play your game and not worry about anything you will score heavily. That being said, you seriously need to have a look at your fitness. Yes, I say this even after strings of 50's. You can be the best. You have the best technique among Bangladeshi players.
Use it

Tamim is unfit looks nervous when chasing a big score. Even makes fans like me nervous. I heard rumours he smokes and drinks and if true then I'm not surprised why he looks so exhausted.

i think tamim needs more focus. he's got all the tools to succeed in every format across the world, his mindset, motivation and focus are what bring him down.

Bad captaincy today. Needed to exert pressure and perhaps inter-sparse the SLAs with seamers. The fielding looked bland and lackadaisical by whole team.
