I'm find with Tamim doing what he did. Sometimes provocation deserves an appropriate response. They be human. I'd have probably whacked the sod upside the head. And there is nothing wrong with judiciously crafted swearing. Why do you think we invented it. There is a time and place for it. This was one such occasion.

Tamin is a grown man and let him do what he thinks appropriate. If he has to learn his lesson the hard way, so be it.
Incident like this does not happen frequently so it'snot such a big deal. Once he scores couple of 50s back to back in ODIs, we will forget everything.
We read too much into everything, as fans, we have too much free time in our hannd.

that vid shows how arrogant Tamim is. BD cricketers after making it into the national team think they have some kind of power over everyone else. Shakib, Tamim and Ash are big culprits. They are lucky they aren't playing for England or Australia or else there would have been huge consequences and a lot of media attention would have followed.

"A recent video on Facebook has caught my attention. In the video it has been shown that I abused a GIRL who was looking for my autograph which is totally wrong and misleading!
It is true that I got aggressive and abused but it was never the girl rather one of the person standing near the stair case.
I am being criticised for my act but first one needs to understand what made me react on such extent. At that moment, I came back to the dug-out getting dismissed in a match which we could have ended winning. I had no control on my nerves and that all I had in my mind was the frustration of things going wrong.
While going up to the dressing-room, this guy standing near was literally abusing my parents which made me feel offended thus react.

Is it Tamim's own writing or someone else's? I know he was in English medium but he seems almost too articulate here. Regardless, he is a human being after all, so I guess he should be forgiven for that incident. He also needs to be careful that it doesn't become a pattern.

^ no one hates Tamim. People criticized Tamim's action off the field that'a it. Just because someone doesn't like how he acted off the field doesn't they hate him or won't support him when he goes out to bat.

Well I really don't think people have any right to criticize anyone unless you see both sides of the story. You really cant just start jumping just by seeing that 3 second video!

Neither can you defend on that three min video...let people have their opinion...:-)
And no public figure can justify behaving like this under any circumstances... Yes, they can get away with it as a human error, but not on regular basis. Public will say whatever they feel, public figures can justify their position but can't show physical threat like that...:-) even if a public has abused him for not performing for the team, he can't assault. He was within the safety of grills. His life wasn't threatened by that...
And Tamim not only threatened physical assault, he used abusive language too... Un justifiable...

Players get lots of abuse in English and Australian grounds. But they hardly ever react the way Tamim has done. And if they do, they get fined/banned.

Spectators who shout at players in the field should first be banned from entering the stadium.
Tamim is not at fault here, he may be a public figure but he is also a human, and if you shout obnoxious things about his family than he has full authority to shout back. Who ever made the video should have also named and shamed the spectator.
