Just noticed Imrul is averaging 56 with a HS of 91* from 3 innings with one NO in DPL.
Hope is alive?

That innings did give him hope but he did really poorly in the practice match against England. Let's see how he does tomorrow in the 1st match and the rest of the DPL.

"form's temporary, class is permanent"- Mickey arthur on Shaun Marsh... This is something I see can be easily applied to player of Tamim's natural class and flair. He just needs to work through it, give him a little time and have some faith. After all, he get's the other commentator's speaking, and is easily the best batsmen bangladesh has.

IK (Not Imran, but Kaej) came close to his average in DPL with 53 against the shingho mamas. I think that is good. Maybe when the odds are more stacked against BD we will see his true mettle. Keep going IK!

Yes a good innings by Imrul. I'll admit I haven't been a huge fan of Imrul but if he and Tamim can once again put up those crucial 50 run partnerships that they got in 2010 then that would make us a much better team. Because of those 2 faltering this year, we saw many more top order collapses. I credit Tamim more then Imrul for those partnerships but Imrul still did well. I just hope Imrul doesn't play Tests for the time being and is allowed to concentrate for just ODIs and let Nazim play Tests.

Live Cricinfo from England and Pakistan 1st test 2012:
"Early bowling change, and an interesting one. Mohammad Hafeez is on, and he has created endless torment for left-hand openers around the world over the last year. Ended Devon Smith's career for the moment, and reduced Tamim Iqbal to a shuddering bunny. What can Cook-Strauss do?"
Are you listening Tamim; come back in form quick or can't stop fans and critics calling you bunny, or even worse ending your international career for a while.

Chances of Tamim becoming captain of ANY team he plays has really faded away.
CK preferring Riyad over Tamim is a clear indication of how he is not being considered as a captaincy material for his own zonal side, despite being the Icon.
His DPL performance has been very very ordinary too.
Hope he can pull himself up during the BPL.

Appointing Riyad as captain was a good decision. Tamim shouldn't be pressured given that he is going through a bad patch. Hope he shines well in BPL.

besides Tamim got attitude problems, every team wants their captain to be cool headed, Ryad got some experience too.

That's absolutely right. I liked Riyad's captaincy in BCB Cup.
