Classic "J" and "Z" confusion. Classy!

this guy just scored a world record, its a bit unfair to saeed anwar, this coventry is not in the same class as him, but then the opposition was bangladesh and even dropped twice of easy catches! a guy coming after 4-5 years into international cricket can still do "tula dhuna" of our joke bowlers. so u can imagine where our rightful place is!

yes i agree, its a shameful performance, the way things are going, the batting will put us into even more shame........ and the series will be lost 3-2.

It's a shame; even if we win it.

Catches missed are un excuseable.

The previous record against us was kenya's opening partnarship worth 226 probably. But this one has much more visibility.
Hope one of our boys smack 200 today

One of his interviews, Shakib said that Saeed Anwar is his all time favourite batsman. He doesn't like any others' batting. Now, call it miracle or something else, within few days, an opponent batsman equalled Anwar's record against Shakib & co's bowling. Now, Saeed Anwar would be very angry towards Bangladeshi bowlers. No doubt about it. Anwar (we also) might be thinking that his record would be equalled or broken by Sachin or Jayasuriya or Ponting or Yuvraj or Sehwag or Gayle or Pietersen or Mcculam or Gibbs. Even explosive batsmen like Gilchrist, Hayden couldn't do it and they retired. But 194 by a Zimbabwe batsman!!!!!! Anwar can't even think about it in his nightmare.

I am feeling very sorry for our team also. Kalke Ian Chappel, Jeoffrey Boycott, Tony Greig, Sunil Gavaskar, and perhaps some pakistani former famous cricketers (may be Anwar himself) sabai amader international match khela uchit kina ota niye amader gusti uddhar korbe.

Records happen and people need to deal with it. No one is taking away our ODI status.

Despite his 194*, the total is still winnable for us.

Ya, no one is going to take away our Test or ODI status right now. But a strong criticism is coming within few days from Chappel, Boycott etc, I am sure. My fear is, ICC might listen to them if we keep losing against all the opponents including ZIM and rip both BD and ZIM from test and ODI status.

Vai lojja kisher? Ora ki cricket khele na? Dunia te shudhu amrai kheli??

As long as our boys doesn't break up with pressure, this is just fine for me.

One thing more. Please remember, this is a 13-11 side match.

1, Another typical Shakib bashing thread.
2. If it is a shame, then creating a thread on it is more shameful, that means there is no sense of shame.
3. Be patient for the end of the game. Tamim is still batting with 124 runs.
4. Congrats, Coventry.

instead of blaming the bowlers, just accept the fact that Coventry played a gem of a knock.

2: yes it's a shame.........194 runs is not a joke........bd'r kono batsman parse kono decent teamer shathe 160 er upore korte ajporjonto? if u compare bd and zimbabwe......bd got much facilities, 2/3 coaches, trainer...etc.......where zimb got lack of facilities.........ei typer thread aro onek bair hoise i know........so that means those threads were shameful?

3: yes we won........except tht tamim innings, we would've been lost

and so far.......party time is over now..........this is international cricket........ami chailam r century pailam eto shoja na.......

ceventry jodi 194 mare tahole irelander neil o brien o dekha jabe koyekdin por fastest 100 mere dise..........

If you slap on the back of a trained horse it knows what it is and acts accordingly, if you slap on the back of an untrained horse, it does not know what it is, it just jumps.

On this type of pitch who knows what will happen in the next game. If there is any shame then it has to be on the curator. No one else. Is it a shame Shewag scored triple on Pak flat bed pitch? I hail Conventry for the knock. Had he been out Zim would be all out for sure.

Now logic:
If private parts are shameful to expose then the person who exposes them is shameless. IF coventry's knock is shameful for us then.... HHS

To me his knock was not shameful. It can happen on these pitches.
