Great Lara...I don't get to see his batting but I remember those days he was one of my dream batsmen..
Finally He reached 9000 test runs congrats...

He is the fastest to reach 9000, beating tendulkar by 2 innings.

To show some contrast, Lara reached 8000 runs in 164 innings. So he took just 13 more innings to get to 9000.

Sachin reached his 8000 runs in 154 innings. He took 25 more innings to complete 9000 runs on his 179th innigs.
