I think it will be a close series, 3-2 for Bangladesh.
We needed the former ICL players back and let loose Aftab and Kapali in the restricted overs. But its good in a sense, lot of players will feel their places threatened and perform at their best.

Should be a 5-0 thrashing. Beating them in their home 4-1 clearly shows we're the much better side, and the only players I'd consider a threat would be Williams, Taibu, Taylor (not to the extent of the previous two), Utseya and Price.
The only thing stopping us from winning 5-0 at home would be complacency. You might add our pathetic pace line-up there too. Without Mashrafe, Guys like Masakadza and Chigumbura will really cash in on the loopy medium pacers.

We are underestimating Zimbabwe a bit. Their recent performance against Kenya does suggest they have continued their reemergence after a decent showing against Bangladesh.
Four players who we really need to be cautious of are Masakadza, Taibu, Chigumbura and Price. Although the first post suggests we have advantages, the above 4 can win matches against us on any day if any of them click. Masakadza is looking very good. Taibu has always been a special performer and expect him to come back with a bang. Chigumbura loves playing against us, and we just cannot cope with the pressure Ray Price puts on us.

they have to prepare good pitches in order to account for their world class spinners

I also would love to see BD dominate these teams. However, before that happens, we need to play competitive against them so that we are no longer considered minnows. I think we already have the team to do it. Now we need temperament.

we shouldn't be worried. say ZIM wins the first 2 games, we can just draft SN into the team, that should take care of it.

Not a nice remark for guests of your country. Maybe you should think back how you felt when fans of other teams say the same about the BD team.

AMTR would say that about any team touring BD, it has nothing to do with zim being a weak team. he also doesn't mean it in a derogatory way when he says that about say India.

Well, I was surprised to see that BCB X1 beat the Zims. They were playing their National team except Chigumbura, Happy to see that bull Price did not take a single wicket, I guess that this must be a bit of a blow to his ego. I think this has sort of dampened the Zim's confidence, but i am sure that they will give a good fight. I am hoping that BD wins the series, but at the moment am going with BD 3or 4 and Zim 1 or 2.
