Dhaka Premier League One Day Tournament 2009/10
50 over games will be starting on 23rd. Total of 84 games.
I think the fixture is not published yet. Miraz bhai will post it soon..
This time Khelaghar will rock.
Khelaghar, Gazi Tank, MSC, Abahani and Biman are teams to look out for.

But Khelaghar's top order is not that good. They need to score with solid batting.

As usual...toothless competition without national stars in games for any considerable amount of time...

I believe this will be a tough competition and special eyes will be on Gazi's fellow ex ICL players. After all we always need good players in supply and this is where selectors need to come back to find one.

If Tamim continue to play with the Modons for too long, he will indeed start acting another Mododn. Thats will be a waste of talent.

Unfortunately, I think Pazi tank will steal the show this year. MSC will be missing Tamim,Ash,Mahmud, who are definately the heart and soul of the team. AKC will miss SAH, [ I dont know the other pool players, and they wont miss Mash, coz you cant miss something you never had :P]
but Pazi will have a full strength team and i think they will have an edge over the other teams.
I also think Khelaghor will pull off a surprise, they have many players from the last U19 batch if im correct.

The effect of "Absence of National Player"
- Ashraful (Mohamedan) -> Addition by subtraction. To be Champion you need constant performer plus you will get 100% better captaincy from Pilot.
- Mashrafee (Abahani) -> No Loss no gain. He was invisible anyway.
- Shahadat Hossain (Kalabagan) -> Non Factor.
- Abdur Razzak -> Another case of Addition by subtraction. He is no logner that old Razzak we used to know.
- Sayed Rasel (CCS) --> Loss for CCS. But then, CCS themselves are non-factor
- Shakib (Ahahani) --> I big Loss. More than what shows in the score card.
- Rahim (Biman) --> A loss indeed. But then they have a good backup in WK.
- Tamim (Mohamedan) --> A Huge Huge Loss. No more one man show for Modon. Modons will fall like pack of cards.
- Mehrab (Biman) --> A big loss for Biman. Mehrab is better suited for T50 than T20.
- Rokibul (Kalabagan) --> Another Big loss for Kalabagan.
- Mahmudullah (Mohamedan) --> Another Loss for Mohamedan. One of the best All rounder after Sakib.
- Junaed (Surjo Torun) --> they will not miss a bit as he was pretty much invissible. But then it was just a t20 dudh bhat games.
- Nazmul (Gazi) --> A loss. Gazi will miss him more than people realize.
- Alam (Surjo Torun) --> Loss. I think they will miss him
- Naeem (Gazi) --> A big loss for Gazi.
- Imrul (Abahani) --> A loss for Abahani.
- Rubel (DOHS) --> A loss for DOHS.
- Enamul (Kalabagan) --> A loss for Kalabagan
- Dollar (DOHS) --> A significant loss for DOHS
