I dont get the future part...... how can you judge some one who has not been put to test and compare with people who had been tested (albeit failed, still time left e.t.c) if assumption is the criteria then here is my team:

1. a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k, l

assuming everybody in the future will be of improved edition.

Before some people start trashing a young player like Ryiad, they need a reality check and see how his contribution stands against our so called elite players.
For last two years (in ODI)

1. Ryiad's average: 28.41
2. Tamim's average: 32.09 ( ~3.6 Runs more than Ryiad)
3. Sakib's average: 31.19 ( ~2.8 Runs more than Ryiad)
4. Rokibul's average: 29.59 ( ~1.2 Runs more than Ryiad)
5. Ashraful's average: 29 ( ~ 0.6 Runs more than Ryiad)

How much difference do you see between his average and the elites to say Ryiad is no good?

If Ryiad is no good, then none of the elite are that good either. Atleast for Ryiad's case ( and Rokibul's case) there is hope that he will get batter as he is a relatively new player.

Check the following link for details (Murad's thread):

Riyad is a really skilled batsman. He bats as 7/8 so its hard to tell because he really is a middle order batsman.

There is not even any Banglar monkeys left in the jungle, even the jungle bhi hawa ho gai....the skinny unfed starved loner banglaar bagh in the Mirpur zoo cries out of hunger when the zoo-keeper sells his lunchon meat in the Mirpur kacha-market!

And Atahar Ali would make more runs than Ashraful, way more. But we're talking about present and future cricketers here.
