Default WC2011 Tickets

Tickets info please. Websites, outlets for buying tickets. Anyone organising package tours for those living aboard? It will be a great idea if someone does it - e.g. BD WC tour, India WC tour, SL WC tour, Complete WC tour etc or even mix and match.

I have put a thought into that idea. I am currently looking to partner up. If anyone is interested from BD, let me know through pm. Cheers.

The two quarterfinals will take place at Dhaka on March 23 and March 25.
The proposal for the opening ceremony and local marketing agency also approved during the LOC meeting and they will go for tendering process after getting the approval from the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Jalal Yunus also informed that they had fixed the rates for the galleries.

S.E is the one we used to sit - straight from the pitch - best view!
C.H - more like a mid wicket - mid off view.close to VIP.

So there is no special enclosure, bhujlam. So what would be the ticket price if I want to buy ticket to approximately get that section?

it's always like between regular gallery and club house - so may be 8.00 $

@pasha bhai

what do they mean by club house (north -south) ???

the club house is at the north of the ground. so club house north is understandable.
but club house south ??? may be they are referring special enclosure as clubhouse south for this tournament.

so if i am correct this is what i understand

the normal gallery has bee divided in three portions. east north and south. east is cheaper as u get the worst view. south and north better view so a bit costly.

traditional clubhouse is club house north.
traditional specil enclosre is club house south

also the traditional VIP grand stand now stands for international gallery and is also divided in two sections, north (over the home teams dressing room) and south (over the away team dressing room)

Yes you can. Go to the ICC site.

Western gallery is more expensive than the International Gallery (North) - which overlooks the home team balcony.

Any suggestions from those who have been to SBNS?

North stand or South stand behind bowlers arm will be the best view. What ever you do dont seat on West or East stand. Side on view is not good at all.

Ok, got tickets for the first 3 Bangladesh games in Dhaka. Took the International Hospitality (Block R, S) for the opener v India, and western gallery for the remaining two.

Tickets to Dhaka: $nnnn, International Hospitality Seats at SBNS $nnn, watching Bangladesh defeat India in the opening game of the 2011 World Cup at Dhaka, Bangladesh: Priceless!

Got the game tickets, now to see if I can actually make it to Dhaka then.

For people who are willing to buy tickets online, above is the whole package of the Bangladeshi games[this does not count as advertising I hope]

Hopefully I will be able to see BD-IND, BD-IRE games. And maybe BD-WIN game if I am able to tweak my vacation a bit. It's going to be a lifetime experience, can't wait for it. Forget the fifa world cup, lets have a countdown of ICC WC 2011

normally the places designated international gallery which is behind the sight screen always remain empty as normally tickets for that area not sold. may be to avoid crowd behind the sight screen.

the media boxes are situated at the upper floor of international gallery north.

there are two blocks not designated between WEST gallery and the two Club Houses. the two pavillions of the teams are just over these two undesignated blocks. actually the west gallery consists all the three block which is normally the VIP grand stand.

normally the best view is seen from the club houses as normally the tickets of the blocks designated international gallery are not sold.

now there could be one more question. ppl may think whats the difference between North South gallery and the club houses. the SCOREBOARD is situated over the eastern gallery. its easier to view it from the clubhouses than the north south gallery.

also as the players pavillion is below the west gallery, u get a closer look from the club houses.

IF ANYBODY HAVE ANYMORE QUESTION ABOUT SNBS U CAN ASK. I HOPE I CAN ANSWER.

the Hospitality Boxes are on the 3rd floor of the West Gallery.

EDIT

u got tickets of the the new stands named International Hospitailty which actually is straight from the pitch behind bowlers arms. normally it stays vacant but looks like they are going to let ppl in there for the WC matches.

i didn't now you could buy the boxes' tickets,i thought that they were owned(or taken on lease) by organisations and they give tickets to their own employees or clients.
