I always wondered what would happen when our 2 most inconsistent players faced each other. Now I know.

Classic SRK

Good one Tiger Manc. This video clearly suggest our selectors don't spend anytime on their job. They just simply and randomly picks up players. That's why we have such a random and messed up team selection. Same goes for Shane. I thought he was following BPL closely during his idle time. Guess he was sleeping too.

Exactly my thought...
We really need a powerful CEO and Predident who can put things in order. Selectors seriously messed up and they are getting paid for no reason. For this type of failure in NFL or NBA or even in most Test Teams, these selectors would be sacked instantly. They simply lack common sense or have no clue what they are doing. Even a 10 year old can do better. Shame
On Selectors.

I hope he can bounce back though. If he can it will show character. Ian pont once praised him as someone who gives his heart to fast bowling, that's a bit hard to find. He has experience under his belt now, only if he can work really hard on increasing speed atleast to what he used to bowl around 2008, really practice hard at bowling yorkers and good length deliveries. He has to learn about fast bowling and I feel he has to talk to batsmen, bowlers, coaches. Also, I wish I could do a bowling analysis of his action, I don't think it's as smooth as it can be. The first thing is his front leg collapses, never good for a fast bowler, doesn't give him the height he needs eventhough he is tall to ball good length balls that rise fast, in other words he bowls freebies.

He should also learn about swinging it, and if the conditions favour the bowlers, pitching it up. Yah, there are so many things one can do really. But he has to want it, he has really want to work hard, own up his mistakes and go back to the basics and most importantly train really hard. Bangladesh cricket has invested a lot of time on this bowler, he should give some of it back.

I really hope he corrects himself, and I think it's possible.

You were joking right? Shahadat will never correct himself. More like with every series he incorrects himself. Better for him to retire than further embarrass and let the country down

It is not easy bowling yorkers at any stage. So any err in length with yorkers invariably means the ball is a low fulltoss, and low fulltosses are easier to hit for boundaries with 2 feilders outside the circle. Similarly length balls are easier to hit for boundaries when the ball is not swinging and with multiple feilders outside the circle (simply because you can hit across the line). So the idea is to bowl length and short of length in the beginning of an innings, and full at the end of an innings. This is however not always the case, especially if there is assistance from the pitch, in that case bowling full offers more swing for the bowler.

Shahadat is in fear of giving Yorker in 1st over only cause is they can not maintain L/L when giving yorker.
Quality of our pacers are really poor. None of them can bowl yorker.Even Mash cant. Its a shame.

Guys, this is nothing compared to what he actually said in the real interview, such attitude and arrogance as if he did nothing wrong, PA put it in a much better way. I've seen it on tv and the way he was speaking it seemed like he just had a pack of weed and wasn't in his senses.
