He was undone by some marvelous bowling by Zaheer khan. The Hawk eye analysis showed how Zaheer swung the ball both ways from the same spot. So TI had to play at it, just in case it came back in, guessed wrong and got out.
Yet, a great, great knock man.

Tamim will be a great batsman for BD, he is maturing as a batsman, seems that he has the guts and patience to play a long innings, but then he gets a rush of adrenalin and plays a rash shot. Cant blame him. He is learning how to build an innings.
Happy to see 2 batsmen scoring centuries, Riyad nearly scored one too. i cannot remember the last time BD did this in a test match. Hope that in future matches, a few of them score centuries. Sakib is due to score one too, but he comes out and plays attacking shots from the beginning, seems that he has no patience to wait and pay a bit of respect to bowlers. Should pay attention to Gavaskar who always says to show the bowler some respect in a couple of overs, he will make a mistake, then hit him.

Congratulations Tamim, but please try to score the slowest test hundred, not the fastest... we need to stay in the crease more than the runs. Had he scored this 150 in 4 sessions, would have served Bangladesh greatly.

Even though some times it was too agressive and risky than needed, however the end result is what it matters most.
It also shows that he is learning and trying hsi best to judge the balls better which one to go for and which one to let it go...

His brother still has the bragging rights on facing more balls in an innings. may be against England

Yeah..his celebration was something...
Loved the part when Gavaskar gusted out "wow", like a little girl who just saw her biggest crush/rockster face to face.

"Our coach said to everyone; go there and enjoy your game. I think Jamie is the best coach ever in Bangladesh," he declared.
Tamim also highly praised former Bangladesh fielding coach Mohammad Salahuddin's contribution to not only his career but also to many other players in the team.
"Salahuddin sir is a real mentor. He is no more with us [as BCB didn't extend his contract] but always lends a hand when needed. I could successfully play the sweep shots today because of him. Just last night [Monday night] he sent me an SMS with little tips that helped me a lot," he said.
