I hope he recovers soon. Thank god its only a fever. I would rather see a fully fit Mash against England in 2 Test matches than nearly fit Mash against NZ in Circus cricket and ODI.

is it anyway related to KKR's inspection on Mash injury status ?? Mash is on the verge of losing his contract with KKR (what i read in Newspaper)! KKR may have been told him tht if he gets injury again in short time then he is gonna lose his contract ! so mash may be wanted to be in safe side and decided not to go in NZ. i am just having a weird thought. do not jump on me yet !

Feel so sorry for Mash. i thought going to NZ was too quick for him. He should recover soon and be fit for the English series. I think that KKR is going to buy out his contract soon. they have Bond.

He shouldn't. Let him play in the NCL. We need him to beat England at home, not bend his back in New Zealand and sprain a muscle or break a bone. It's too early for him to be back.

yep....and our current pace dept (Shahadat, Rubel and Shafiul) is doing quite well...so Mash doesnt require to rush back in the team at the moment !

Given the state of our pace attack from the last 2 tests, there is no reason we should hurry mash into risking him more injury. He should take all the time he needs, and we can grow the other 3 meanwhile so we are not completely dependent on him.

Too many injuries and injury-related opt-outs. Sooner or later, Mashrafe may have to retire from Tests and focus solely on ODIs.

its good that this came up before the left BD. had this happened after he got to NZ it would have been bad for our team. Mashrafee get well soon. plenty of cricket coming up in the next few months, you got time.

Talha would be good replacement of Mash. Robin and Rasel are also good replacement.

Good for him and the team. We need a fit Mash. He shouldn't be in the squad anyway. No match practice for 6/7 months.

i dont think we are gonna get mashrafe back again.
we lost hasibul hossain shanto when he was at his prime form.
now we are losing the another of our best bowlers. i think this recurring injury will never let him play again

but mash return several times
i dont think he should be included in NZ tour, by the time he will reach there, it will be already too late. why dont we give him rest and make him available against england in next month.
send Syed rasel or shuvo immediately
