I just saw the TV footage. Absolutely ridiculous. He was just biting the ball like an apple.
This guy should be banned from cricket for good.

Pakistani fans are laughing it off calling it a "beastly" act. This is no less than his third offence of this kind, discounting the match fixing allegations. Plus he was captaining his team as well. Wonder what will happen to him? Will he get off again? Or most probably PCB will let him off with a slap in the wrist like Akhtar and Asif.

i don't think it's in the hand of PCB anymore!!
It happened in an international match, ICC will handle the case.

and against Aussi !! while they were struggling to win the match...and the commentators pointed that ball changing turned the match(After noticing ball tempering)

I don't think he will be off the hook so easily.

That was disgraceful by Afridi... Now, when people suspect pakistanis of tampering with the ball, you can't really complain that they are not being fair.

It's their tradition. Inzi, Rashid Latif and Moin Khan taught the likes of Afridi and now it's his turn to pass his knowledge on to Aamir, Umar and co.
No wonder legends like Imran Khan, Wasim Akram and Abdul Qadir do not want to have any association with Pakistani cricket.
right in the middle of the pitch with all the TV cameras watching your every move you bite the ball..... twice??
maybe every team tampers the ball one way or another.... but there are smarter ways of doing it
this is outright humiliating.....

LOL, first reaction of mine was just laughing like hell, cause he was biting the ball like a hungry python swallowing a rat after months of hunger
Still can't believe how he dared to do this in such a style while cameras are all over the field, and there were people call umpire were present in the field too, was he out of his mind, seriously !!

What I don't understand is, lots of people in Pak forums taking this lightly and keep repeating that its part of cricket. Someone even said that no apology is necessary. Real shame, maybe from now one they will stop mocking SL AND BD fan.
When Afridi started to play for Pak there was lots of talk about his real age. He looked like he 20, but he claimed he is only 15, maybe he wanted to play for u19.
