"We are talking about a young country that has a huge population - Bangladesh is the seventh most populous country in the world and is listed in the so called "The Next Eleven" - countries with a high potential of becoming one of the world's largest economies in the 21st century. That alone is a strong indication that it won't be that long before Shakib Al Hasan and his team will definitely be able to mix it with the best. "

This probably the only thing that's going to save us. As the economy grows, I hope more money and better facilities find their way into the domestic league.

Well, i think TG was a huge supporter of Dhaka Warriors in the ICL. And probably since then he is a fan of Bangladeshi cricket, mind you, DW did put on some tremendous cricket display in the ICL

he has been one of the strongest advocate of kicking bd out of test cricket over the last few years........

he even went on to say that matches against bd shouldnt be counted as that is not cricket according to him

Who cares what Greig says? This is the first time I've seen him say anything remotely positive about Bangladesh. A man who is able to shamelessly declare his intentions to make the opponent grovel, and then lose 3-0 is never to be taken seriously.

Makes me wonder, why are they all changing tones.
It cant just be cricket.
We are not playing anything special for them all the jump on the bandwagon.
Even cricinfo is now looking ways to publish good reports bout us.

Hmmm....

I am not sure if you have watched the games or not. can you think when last time bd played india what happen? players scored 200 and what not. Now they are fighting for a draw or win. they r still not there yet but from England T/20 commentators all around the world are saying bd batting has changed and also mentality too. so i don't see why people will not praise us? after all these guys love cricket don't they?
