Default Tuffey: NZ Aiming for a Whitewash

http://www.odt.co.nz/sport/cricket/9...eshtuffey-says

I remember last time Easy 3-0 Were gonna be #1 was the slogan for them and than we let them off the hook in the 2nd ODI

Maybe he knows what he is saying, probably because he saw BD lose 7 wickets for 23 runs in their own backyard.

Tuffey's outswingers are deadly for subcontinent batsmen. Prodding the balls outside the offstump and giving a catch to the slip or w/k is a common failure shown by our Bangladeshi batsmen. This could be another horrible show by the batsmen, who knows!

Well he is right to expect Whitewash. NZ have played pretty well against the Tigers. Although their luck wouldve been worse if they were playing in BD. Anyways, time for Sakib to prove smthing, he didn't perform at all on the last series. He can bring not only victories but easy ones too with his batting and bowling...

I think we will throw better challenge at them than before. With the help of luck , we can win the T20, the test, the odi series.......... well seems like we can also whitewash them

He is just being realistic. How would you want him to be pessimistic and say NZ would lose a game?

NZ should be expected to whitewash Bangladesh given the rankings and the fact that the matches are in their backyard. Just the same way we would expect vs. ZIM, IRE or anyone below us in the ranks.

The ownership is on us to show that we are a threat.

We need to get a winning start with the T20. 2.5 years without a victory in that format!

With the Kiwi injury list, I think we have a shot to win the ODI series. We just need to keep McCullum from killing us.

A drawn Test is impossible (barring weather) as both teams do not have the batting skills to bat out overs. A result is inevitable and it will be Shakib/Vettori/Taylor that will determine the outcome either as the hero or the villain.

Exactly. It's up to us to prove him wrong.

The Test at Hamilton should be interesting to watch. That pitch is batsmen friendly, I heard, and unless BD batsmen do not do any unwanted adventure there a good score is possible by us.

tamim, riyad, mushy? even shahadat's performance will probably have a say in the outcome.
