aftab
ashraful
sakib
mahmudullah
naeem
mushfique
razzak( we all know he can hit)
shahadat(ya he can bat)

Who is responsible for selecting playing XI? He is good for Test and ODI, but not T20, IMHO.
I hope our selectors are not following their Paki selectors.

bd will be allout for 125, rakibul will top score with 25 of 45 balls, everybody will say if he wasn't playing, BD would have been booked for 90 runs. he steadied the ship and let BD reach a respectable total.

just kidding.

i think this will be another series where rakibul will flop but still he will retain his place in the team for the england tour.

Since we are vulnerable to collapse even in T20, Rock was chosen to play a Gollasque innings to reconstruct if a collapse happens. Sigh.

C'mon guys, we couldn't have all trigger happy half chance players in the team.
If the top order dont click (in all likely possibility), rock can just hold on.
If they do click, you wouldnt even need Rock. If the top 4 can last beyond 13-15 overs, you'd see
Nayeem/Riyad coming up the order in place of Rock.

Good luck to Aftab.
Hope he can make his international comeback a memorable one, unlike his ICL colleague.

I am slightly worrid to see the batsman heavy line-up. Too many batsmen might prompt top-order to play reckless cricket and get bundled out cheaply.

I hope I am wrong.

Bangladesh must score at least 160+ to have any chance in the match.

I just hope Naeem and Riyad gets a promotion in the batting lineup and Mushi is held back.

The ground is real small. So may have to recalculate the target.

Agree especially when they have a tendancy to "take lighthly" when there are hopes knocking at the door...perfect example last test with IND....nobody knows what goes on the heads of these cricketers.

In that case expect two hundres from the NZ top order and two ducks from our top order.

we have 4 bowlers. that means nayeem and riyad will have to chip in with 2 overs each. thats not good. NZ batsman will probably score 60+ runs from our part timers. we should have gone with razzak over raqibul.

if our top four (Tamim, Aftab, Ash, Sakib) clicks, we will be well over 100 by the 10th over. and that leaves the finishing part for nayeem and riyad.

On the other hand, the opposite could happen..if we loose wickets in paris (Tamim goes after Aftab or vice versa, Ash departs r ight afte Sakib vice versa) we will be 40 for 4 by 10 over. You never know I was disgusted when they displayed their batting talent last match.

I am also thinking like you.It was better to play Razzak dropping Rakib.I am afraid how much pounding will be done on Naeem and Riyad.Though i think Naeem a good bowler.
