Default Bangladesh will Only Show Competitiveness

If they find an answer to Daniel Vettori. I find it quite sad that a team who has played plenty of Left arm spin (Shakib, Razzak, Haque Jr, even Rafique), cannot seem to find an answer to Daniel Vettori.

Believe me, Vettori is a class act, and quite different from other left arm spinners. But if you ask me there is no reason that his average should be so low vs Bangladesh. Especially seeing the talent and improvement before our eyes.

Yes, McCay and the rest sparked the collapse, but you can never count out Dan the Man...Bangladesh plays pace decently, except they are a little suspect to loose shots and short pitched bowling.

Tamim in particular is good enough to get through the pace bowling. But it will be very annoying to see him give away his wicket to spin again, such as in the 1st ODI. Vettori went wicketless and gave away 25 runs, and Bangladesh ended up getting twice as much as many would have expected.

If they play Vettori with caution and he doesn't wreck Bangladesh, expect a competitive match. 10 overs for 30 runs will be excellent unless they are chasing about 350.

All you have to do for vettori is bat out his overs and target other bowlers.

there is a reason vettori took 12 wickets against australia when he was 18-19 because they played aggressively against him.

I think Shakib is a better test bowler than Vettori.

they are about the same to be honest

Vettori has spent most of his time bowling in New Zealand conditions which are very unhelpful to spin

I don't think Dan Spins the ball tho, .... ala Kumble but doesn't make the ball do much unlike Kumble

Which is why his Teszt Average is quite high but He's playing witha torn shoulder and has put surgery off for some time.

thats because in New Zealand the ball doesn't really spin so he has had to try and develop other things like varying pace etc

Very good effort to take 45 off Vettori's 10 overs....Lost 3 wickets, but those were all after 40 overs (the death), and they got to a competitive total. Decent effort in the end.

We actually got 43 off the last ten, so it wasn't as decent an effort as it may seem. But it was all good up to the 40th over.

yeah the last 10 overs in the 3rd ODI weren't so crash hot, they had 198 runs at 40 overs, i think they were 4 down.

We hope to change the public opinion in the next series.

Can't wait to see Colly's swing. I bet he has a faulty stance. Arms not straight and aligned properly. Knee buckles while the club is coming down, eyes often wanders away in the impact moment. Fade or cut, in to the woods. That is why in every hole gets the calling from the woods, Calling"wood".

Man I hope so..agree NZ is a better side then England..with all the due respect we should have actually won the ODI series back in BD but of course NZ did find ways to win and I give full credit 2 u guys 4 winning against us..the spinners have to really exploit the conditions well against the british batsmen..if we do that then we will be more then competitive against england..

Vettori is a really smart guy, I guess it did not take long for him to notice our batsmens' over eagerness to play sweep shots against spinners (as that's what Siddons been teaching them to play against spinners), and he took advantage out of it.
