Dang it! Rod Tucker for all 5 games. Where was he positioned during the McCheat incident? Wherever he was can't we complain about him umpiring us?

I am slightly disappointed not to see Sohrawardy Shuvo in the practice match. May be Mahmudul Hasan got the nod ahead of him due to his bowling style (right arm off-break).

WOW! Look at the officials travelling with the team,
Wicket keeping coach, psychologist, head coach, batting coach, fielding coach, team doctor, physiotherapist, physiologist, and everyone else. It is like Royalty travelling.
BD does not have half these specialists. at least they should have had a psychologist and WK coach.
I guess the ECB has the money.
Withall these specialists, England should win hands down

Interesting strategy! BCB picked a team dominated by out of form players!
Where Nasiruddin Faruque come from?! He has not participated in the NCL!
Shafaq and Ariful are only two players I see who can claim to have some kind of form.
I guess the idea is to let England be complacent beating a severally weak team.

I guess the idea is not to let England team practice against any SLA before the ODI series.
Can't say I like this strategy of "Nijer nak kete porer jatra bhongo". I would have preferred to see BCB testing our bench strength in those two practice matches.

Great to see Tapash back ... also like the idea of SN and Kapali in the squad since they have a genuine chance of making it ... They could have really tried Rajin though ....

And what about the keeper? He is not even among the top 5 keepers who are around the national team. He has played almost 150 first-class and list-A matches and his average is 20 and 17 in those formats. I guess this is not a bad idea to play such a weak team but Dhiman could have been given a chance as SN and Kapali are there.

hahaha....I like this...this indicates some positive points. - they now find bangladesh isn't worse to travell, stay for month.living standard, facilities are getting improved!
- the english are now certainly not too afraid of terrorism in BD. they're not comparing us to pakistan.they're feeling free to stay here with many officials.
- our management will have the chance of dress rehearsal of managin world cup.!
- and last but not the least- shalara kom dam dia shopping korte aitase. lolz

I think Mushtaq Ahmed is also travelling with the team. He is in Dubai as their spin coach and I think he will go to Dhaka as well as the spinners will play a big part in the series.
It seems like this is a strategy from BCB but even then some of the names are questionable. I would have liked Emon Ahmed there instead of Babu or Baishya. It might pay off however Foysal, Farhad, Saqlain and Shuvo are a must for the four-day match.

Maybe some of the staff also act as Collingwoods caddie. You need people to carry his bags, kits..

Large media contingent tours with England team as well. Maybe, we will see Andrew Miller, Tim Abraham, David Gower etc as well..

Actually, Shahin Hossain is the top keeper in domestic leagues for last 5-6 years. However, his profile as a batsman is not good.
