its easy to play for glory or pride, but hard to play when u are under a challenge to win
we have seen some good innings by some of our players in the recent few days. thats why nowadays we think we are more capable to win these days. but time and again when we are in winning positions we fell apart.
actually if u think sensibly you will find out, most of the innings came when a batsmen was playing for pride when the game was lost. their target was to give the team innings some pride or make a name for himself.
most of the times when there comes an expectation from them that now they can lead the team towards a win then they feel the pressure and buckle. then they forget how to bat.
for example, shakib and mahmudullas was batting well in the NZ 2nd innings, when there was no pressure on them. everybody thought this is a lost game and will finish before lunch but when there was a feeling that a win is possible and these to needs to bat sensibly then they gave away.
in the 3rd ODI and 2nd ODi BD had good starts and played well upto 40 overs. then when there was the pressure that to win the game u need to use the PP overs well we could not and ended up being 20-30 runs short.
and today, aftab, mushfiq shakib was playing well enough when the victory was far away. but when the victory was looking likely with 140 in 20 overs needed with 6 wickets in hand, we started to crumble. riadh, naeem all looked out of clue.... who somedays before were treated as the part of the best 6,7,8 of the world.
we have the skills, we have the talent, we have the capabilty. but we dont have the mentality to execute the important things at the crucial times

I agree 100%. On another note, although I do not blame Tamim, but that 45 run belongs to Tamim who failed to rise in this occasion, in his home city.

Very difficult when you play against 13. Those extra two giving death blows in crucial time of the game. I wonder what will observer do now. Sorry sir, we failed you again.

Mahmudullah played far too selfish today. Naeem did not take chances early. Nor can you blame shuvo for our team's failur in reacing the total
