Who cares about stupid IPL. A tournament where players like Ravindra Jadeja who barely can make it to national side, fetches more than a million dollars. But might just follow Shak's stats. I thought we were done with both NCL and DPL this year.

there are memories that make you sad but if you had the option to erase them, you would never do it.

This whole seniorities thing is finally catching up to me. Don't feel like going to classes or do any work. Flunked an exam, but that had more to do with following Bangladesh Cricket team in Asia cup than my laziness.

My Ramblings from the Ba's Nokta
A few things I have learned -
1. A passion for anything over a certain time frame (consistently more than at-least a year) unlocks new perspectives on life. Yes Life in the greatest sense of the word.
2. Cricket has made me realize that Life evolves. Greatness today will be desolved tomorrow - but not obliterated.
3. People are much more forgiving when they can look at the wider scope beyond narrow time-oriented vision. Reminds me of the Surah in the Quran where the ant was being compared to Solomon. Surah An Nahal I think.
4. It is hard to let go at the present time,,,but looking at time as a whole - one understands better why the letting go has happened in the past, will happen today and must happen tomorrow.
5. Time does indeed humble us.
6. If anyone seems on top of the world or down on the dumps - in cricket and in life - remember the time immemorial Sufi saying - That too shall pass. It has, and it will.
7. I still don't know looking at the sand pebbles of the present time - what is right - what is wrong. Time has made things topsy turvy.
8. I love this sport - it teaches - but when you get so immersed are you uncovering something that was inherent to you all along. It is called Cognition - in Sufism. Yes, it was within you all along.
9. If one could take the entire time of existence, then one would know everything. That happens at the end of a test match - that is done by the best of Captains. Prophets and Captains - how similar are they you will find only from Test Matches. There is no sport on earth that is like life than tests. Thank God for BD playing tests - and thank God for opening my eyes to that beauty - I bow in humility. For those who think that is blasphemy - that would be a shallow sight. Those will be the same as the detractors of Hallaj - even Hallaj was his own detractor.
10. The truth exists everywhere - it is love and passion that unlocks it.
11. Listen to the humble of heart - they speak from the place closest to the truth.
12. Arrogance is a thorn on that path, just as it is in tests.
13. Preconceptions are a thorn on that path, who said angels have wings? who said God created man of his own image? What is that image? Break the preconceptions as you would break the premeditation in tests.
14. Take any thing with love - and it shall open up the sublime.
15. I am an ant at the feet of Solomon.
