... the impetuousness, ineptitude, infatuation with hyperbole, and improbable sense of self-infallibility that mark the youth.

I am amused when such pups rail against spelling errors with sentences replete inundated * with grammatical errors.

* I love alliteration

This is a very unfortunate fact: Most of the PHD's I have seen from bangladesh studying in North America/europe are very inarticulate and their writings are full of grammatical and spelling errors !! Grammar and spelling is something you learn in 2nd grade. I am stunned how these guys get their PHD's. How do they write their papers. Even here in BC there are quite a few PHD's whose sentences make me wonder. One of the few exceptions to this is Zunaid uncle. He is the exact opposite of a typical bangladeshi PHD. I think it matters a lot where your foundation years were spent, ie which alma mater you went to when you were a kid/youth.

It is the content of your thesis that matters, the product. Writing can be done with help. Not all geniuses need to have full command over one particular language. Why do I need english to fiddle with DNA markers, or find better search with newer algorithms?

Zunaid's writing ability has nothing to do with his phd. He is genuinely an all rounded guy. His writing ability wouldn't be any different if he never went for phd, just like my lack of good writings skills wouldn't improve if I decided to enter a phd program.

All these titles, good writing skills, good speaking skills etc etc, create a good impression. Lack of any of those doesn't make one less intelligent (in their field).

We should have our own BC version of hunger games..nominating tributes. We need to nominate some nadush nudush volunteers for life time ban..or rather select 24 who will mudsling their way to deat..er ban and we shall watch the moja with pora bari chomchom..

Since we wants some fatsos i nominate:
female: lams
male: roey haque (no not his girth rather his weight as a member..he is very popular nowadays and he will put up a good show)

I think human sacrifice is more interesting. I nominate Zeeshan to be fed to the gods.
