Feign a mid morning appointment and that you won't make it back in time. Or, tell him the truth.

It shocks them at first but they do accept.

- Leave the house before they do for the mosque, go and sit in some tea stall until the end of prayer

-Go along...you obviously don't believe, so go for the exercise!

Alternatively tell them the truth. They'll rant and rave, and then go pray extra for your salvation!
