Congrats to you mom Navo.
As for gifts, I'd echo with iDumb. I was going to suggest pearl necklace too.
Esp for middle aged woman, I think it looks very classy and of good taste.

Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny? "We do not deny any of our Lord's bounties/favors upon us."

Navo, shouldn't your mom be gifting and feeding everyone, including us too now that you mentioned it to us?

A painting sounds a great idea if she's really a big fan...

I guess I should hop on the gift suggestion train as well.
How about a Cartier pen which she can correct papers with?

Bought the 55" LED from LG despite the frown from Jadukorni. Bought the Prometheus blu ray 3D as well. Really loving the light 3D glasses for the passive 3D system. Last night the cinema viewing experience was simply magical.

I didn't like the heavy battery operated 3d glasses. Felt it would be uncomfortable for long hours. They were expensive and only giving two of them while i got 6 pairs from LG

Anyone else find it a little funny that the new banner at the top features 2 Shakibs side by side? I would imagine that the face shot at the far right, and one with him bowling in white would suffice.
But I would love it if we had the Al-Hassan twins, provided they were equally productive of course.

Having to put up with excessive posts of rants may it be on Facebook, BanglaCricket or elsewhere can turn out to be very very annoying at one point or another.

I will be needing a little help from you guys. 2 of my friends and I have participated in a business competition call Ad maker. It's basically an inter university advertising and marketing competition. Now, we have broke into the semis and as a part of the marks distribution, 20% is allocated to the number of "likes" we get on our team photo in FB. I have no idea how they judge creativity and marketing skills based on how pretty the team looks , but it's a part of the rules which we were not told of until we reached this stage. Our competitors are final year students who belong to a university which recruits nearly 50times the total number of students in our uni yearly. Hence, we are lagging behind by miles in terms of likes. We would appreciate your help very much. Please help us by liking this pic:

Wait thats f***ed up. I see no sense if "Likes" are bought by rallying support from campus populations. Rather they should be having you guys actually try something innovative on social media portals, generating buzz or "doing" activation and promotions to make people give you "likes". Going out and about saying "Like NSU team, because we're NSU and we need to beat IBA" is a **** way to create and evaluate promotion and branding strategy.

they have the activation stuff too. but that's only 60%. 20% is on likes, and 20% is a huge number since the mark differences between teams are in the early or mid single digits. the rest 20 is from the previous round which was making TVCs
